Sujirat Pookkham
Sujirat Pookkham (; born 15 March 1986) is a Thai para-badminton player who competes in international elite competitions. She is a World women's singles champion in 2009. Sujirat competed for Thailand at the 2020 Summer Paralympics which she won a silver medal in women's singles WH1 event and another bronze medal in the women's doubles WH1–WH2 event. Yoyogi National Gymnasium
Yoyogi National Gymnasium, officially is an indoor arena located at Yoyogi Park in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, which is famous for its suspension roof design. It was designed by Kenzo Tange and built between 1961 and 1964 to house swimming and diving events in the 1964 Summer Olympics. A separate annex was used for the basketball competition at those same games. It will also host handball competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics. The design inspired Frei Otto's arena designs for the Olympic Stadium in Munich. The arena holds 13,291 people (9,079 stand seats, 4,124 arena seats and 88 "royal box" seats) and is now primarily used for ice hockey, futsal and basketball. Para-badminton is a variant of badminton for athletes with a range of physical disabilities. Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the main governing body for para-badminton starting from June 2011. The Asian Para-Badminton Championships is a tournament organized by the Para Badminton World Federation (PBWF) which has now merged with the BWF. This tournament is hosted to crown the best para-badminton players in Asia. The inaugural edition of the tournament was hosted in Yeoju, South Korea in 2012.
