Subprefecture Of Capela Do Socorro
The Subprefecture of Capela do Socorro is one of 32 subprefectures of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It comprises three districts: Socorro, Grajaú, and Cidade Dutra. This is the most populous subprefecture of São Paulo, with a total population of 672,901 inhabitants according to the census of 2010. It hosts the Interlagos Circuit, which receives yearly the Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix and also the only beach inside the municipality of São Paulo, in the margins of the Guarapiranga Dam. Mendes-Vila Natal (CPTM)
Bruno Covas/Mendes–Vila Natal, formerly Mendes–Vila Natal, or simply just Mendes or Vila Natal, is a train station on ViaMobilidade Line 9-Emerald. It is part of the State Government plan to extend the line in until the place where was located the old Varginha station of the Jurubatuba branch, of the extinct FEPASA. The branch was deactivated by CPTM in the end of 2001 "due to infrastructure precariousness" of the line at the time. After the station opening, Governor João Doria signed an executive order renaming the station after the late São Paulo mayor Bruno Covas, who died from cancer in May 2021. Grajaú (CPTM)
Grajaú is a train station on ViaMobilidade Line 9-Emerald, in the district of Grajaú in São Paulo. History Grajaú station was opened by FEPASA in 1992, to attend the district of Grajaú, as part of the Jurubatuba-Varginha operational extension. Initially it was composed of two wood platforms, built along with a pontillion which crossed over Avenida Belmira Marin. The two platforms had a ravine behind them with an inclination of approximately , considering the avenue level. The old station was deactivated in December 2001, along with the traffic of Jurubatuba-Varginha branch, and was demolished by CPTM for the construction of Line 9-Emerald above the old FEPASA South Line. In 2008, a larger and modernized new station was built by CPTM in the same place of the old one and kept the name Grajaú, with free access to the SPTrans urban bus terminal. Autódromo (CPTM)
Autódromo is a train station on ViaMobilidade Line 9-Emerald, in the district of Cidade Dutra in São Paulo, away from Autódromo José Carlos Pace. History The station was built by CPTM to attend Interlagos Circuit and adjacencies. Opened on 17 October 2007, the station was the first of integrated operation between CPTM and Metro. It is also the first to be delivered to transform CPTM lined in surface metro, which consists in less wait time in the platform and more comfort in the trains, among other aspects.
