Subhash Agarwal
Subhash Agarwal (born 28 July 1948) is an Indian professional player and coach of English billiards and snooker. A National Snooker Champion of India, he was the runner-up in the 1983 amateur IBSF World Billiards Championship, losing to Michael Ferreira 2744–3933. In 1995 he defeated Peter Gilchrist (billiards player), Peter Gilchrist in the final of the UK Championship, making him the first Indian national to win a ranking event held in the UK. He received the prestigious Arjuna Award in 1983, Agarwal is the coach of the Indian national billiards team, working with Pankaj Arjan Advani, Pankaj Advani among others. He is the brother of the late World Amateur snooker champion Om Agarwal, and a protégé of Anglo-Indian champion Wilson Jones (billiards player), Wilson Jones. Subhash Chandran
Subhash Chandran (born 1972) born in Kerala, India, is a Malayalam novelist, short story writer and journalist best known for the 2010 novel '' Manushyanu Oru Aamukham''. His stories "Vadhakramam", "Sanmargam", "Parudeesa Nashtam" and "Gotham" have been adapted into films. He is the only writer to get Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for both his debut story collection (2001) and debut novel (2011). The Malayalam feature film ''Laptop'' is an adaptation of the short story "Parudeesa Nashtam". Life and career Subhash Chandran was born to Chandrasekharan Pillai and Ponnamma in 1972 in Kadungalloor, near Alwaye, Kerala. After completing his PG in Malayalam and securing the first rank from Mahatma Gandhi University, he ventured into writing. Subhash Suri
Subhash Suri (born July 7, 1960) is an Indian-American computer scientist, a professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is known for his research in computational geometry, computer networks, and algorithmic game theory. Biography Suri did his undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, graduating in 1981. He then worked as a programmer in India before beginning his graduate studies in 1984 at Johns Hopkins University, where he earned a Ph.D. in computer science in 1987 under the supervision of Joseph O'Rourke. He was a member of the technical staff at Bellcore until 1994, when he returned to academia as an associate professor at Washington University in St. Louis. Subhash C. Kashyap (born 10 May 1929) is a former Secretary-General of 7th Lok Sabha, 8th Lok Sabha and 9th Lok Sabha and Lok Sabha Secretariat (Lower House of Parliament of India) from 1984 to 1990. He is also a well known political scientist, an expert in the Indian Constitution, Constitutional Law, Parliamentary Experts and a distinguished scholar.
