Ståle Dyrvik (26 October 1943 — 25 November 2022) was a Norwegian historian. He graduated with the cand.philol. degree from the University of Bergen in 1971. From 1975 to 1988 he worked as an associate professor (''førsteamanuensis'') at the University of Bergen, and he became a professor there in 1988. Ståle Eskeland
Ståle Eskeland (25 August 1943 – 26 December 2015) was a Norwegian jurist. Born in Stavanger, he took the cand.jur. degree in 1970 and the dr.juris degree in 1988. He was an associate professor in the sociology of law for some time, and has also worked in the Norwegian Ministry of Justice, the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority and the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority. In 1990 he was appointed professor of jurisprudence at the University of Oslo. His juridical publications include ''Den psykiatriske pasient og loven'' (1983, 1994), ''Fangerett'' (1989), ''Økonomiske forbrytelser og straff'' (co-ed., 1994), ''Grunnloven og Schengensamarbeidet'' (1997) and ''Strafferett'' (2000). Ståle Kleiberg
Ståle Kleiberg (born 8 March 1958) is a contemporary classical composer and musicologist from Norway. Biography Kleiberg was born in Stavanger in 1958. He graduated from the University of Oslo with a degree in musicology and later from the Norwegian Academy of Music with a diploma degree in composition. In addition he has studied in England. Kleiberg has worked as a composer since 1981 when he received his first commission. He was appointed associate professor at the department of music at the University of Trondheim in 1986, and professor of music at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2008. Works Kleiberg's output ranges from chamber music to works for full orchestra; a number of these are the result of commissions from leading orchestras and ensembles. Ståle Steen Sæthre (born 2 April 1993) is a Norwegian football forward who currently plays for HIFK Fotboll. He hails from Fusa but moved east in 2009 to attend the Norwegian College of Elite Sport in Bærum and play for Ullern. He soon joined the youth team of Lyn. After Lyn's demise in early 2010 he went to Bærum's youth team, then in mid-2011 Stabæk. He made his senior league debut for Stabæk as a substitute in the loss against Aalesunds FK in July 2012, and almost immediately got a yellow card. After just a few matches he signed for Asker. Ståle Sandbech (born 3 June 1993) is a Norwegian snowboarder, who specialises in Big Air, and Slopestyle. He has participated at the 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics and won a silver medal in the Men's slopestyle in 2014. Sandbech has also competed at several Winter X Games winning 2 Silver medals in 2015, and 2017 and 3 bronze medals in 2013, and 2014, and a Gold medal at the 2017 World Championships. Ståle "Sui" Søbye (born 30 June 1971) is a retired Norwegian football (soccer) midfielder who was a two time first team All American. He spent one season in the American Professional Soccer League and one in the USL A-League. Søbye played for Moss FK in the Norwegian Premier League in 1990, having joined the club from IL Driv. He then attended the University of San Francisco where he played on the men's soccer team from 1991 to 1994. Ståle Solbakken (born 27 February 1968) is a Norwegian professional football manager and former player who is the manager of the Norway national team. During his playing career, Solbakken was named 1995 Norwegian midfielder of the year, and he won the Danish Superliga championship with both Aalborg BK and Copenhagen (in 1999 and 2001 respectively). He played 58 matches and scored nine goals for the Norway national football team during the end of the 1990s, and represented Norway at the 1998 World Cup and 2000 European Championship tournaments. Ståle Stensaas (born 7 July 1971) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. He spent the majority of his career at Rosenborg, and he is currently coaching Rosenborg's junior team. Career Stensaas played for the Norwegian Tippeliga side Rosenborg from 1992 to 1997. One of the highlights of his career is his super goal against Blackburn Rovers in the UEFA Champions League in 1995. He was sold to Scottish club Rangers, where he scored goals against Kilmarnock in the league and Falkirk in the League Cup. He struggled to hold a place in the Rangers team and he returned to Rosenborg in 2000. Stensaas was sold to Lyn in the winter 2007, on a two-year contract.
