Stunt (group)
Stunt is a dance music project of British remixers/producers Pete Kirtley, Molly Smitten-Downes, Simon Wills, Mark Dowling and Dave Valler. Stunt is signed to Absolute records with their releases distributed through AATW ( All Around the World). 2005-present David Valler and Molly Smitten-Downes collaborated to write lyrics and a melody (topline) over the Sash! hit "Encore une fois", creating an international club hit, " Raindrops". It was picked up in the United States by Ultra Records and by Ministry of Sound in the United Kingdom in 2006. A new reworking of "Raindrops" between Stunt and Sash! was released as a download-only track on 6 October 2008 on Hard2Beat records. A week later, "Raindrops (Encore une fois)" was released for general sale on CD and entered the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart on 19 October at No. 9. Peter Edward Kirtley (born 14 April 1972) is an English songwriter, record producer and music entrepreneur. He has produced over 200 records worldwide with sales exceeding 15 million and 100 million streams, including seven number-one hit singles worldwide, tracks on seven number-one albums, eight UK top-ten hits and thirty-five top-forty hits in Europe. ''Bass Generation'' is the fourth studio album by Swedish musician Basshunter. It was first released on 28 September 2009, a week after the album's lead single " Every Morning". Dance Nation (record Label)
Dance Nation was a British independent record label which was a subsidiary of Ministry of Sound. When founded in 2007 it was known as Hard2Beat Records, and was rebranded to its current name in 2010. The label's first release was " Now You're Gone" by Basshunter, and they have released other singles and compilation albums since then. In April 2009 they held ''Dance Nation Live'', a live arena tour across the UK. Basshunter headlined the tour with acts including Sash!, Lasgo, and Platnum. Dance Nation had its own customized content channel on Audiotube. The label brand was used as a Sky TV Channel in 2012, since it has not had any new releases or live tours. British Phonographic Industry (BPI) is the British recorded music industry's Trade association. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. It is one of the three official charts, the other two being the Dutch Top 40 and the Mega Top 30. The difference is that these charts also include airplay data. The GfK Entertainment charts are the official music charts in Germany and are gathered and published by GfK Entertainment (formerly Media Control and Media Control GfK International), a subsidiary of GfK, on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie. GfK Entertainment is the provider of weekly Top 100 single and album charts, as well as various other chart formats for genres like compilations, jazz, classical music, schlager, hip hop, dance, comedy, and music videos. Following a lawsuit in March 2014 by Media Control AG, Media Control® GfK International had to change its name. Ultratop
Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published, one on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia. Irish Singles Chart
The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. A new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by the Irish Recorded Music Association on Friday at noon. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. The OCC produces its charts by gathering and combining sales data from retailers through market researchers Kantar, and claims to cover 99% of the singles market and 95% of the album market, and aims to collect data from any retailer who sells more than 100 chart items per week. Darren Styles
Darren James Mew (born 23 May 1975), better known as Darren Styles, is an English record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter from Colchester, England. Originally a member of the breakbeat hardcore group DJ Force & the Evolution, Styles found success during the 1990s as one half of Force & Styles. The duo were pioneers of happy hardcore and wrote several well-known songs such as " Heart of Gold", "Pretty Green Eyes" and " Paradise & Dreams". In the early 2000s, Styles began producing more trance-influenced records with Mark Brady as Styles & Breeze.
