Studio Signpost
is an animation studio subsidiary of Pierrot (company), Pierrot. The studio is an associate-member of The Association of Japanese Animations. History The company was founded in 1959 as an advertising agency by Keiji Kusano and stepped into the anime industry in 1989. In 1993, the company took on the name Studio Kikan and released their first animated works Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirō, ''Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirou''. In 1996, the company established Arms (company), Arms as a separate studio to focus on adult animation and subcontracted animation work. The studio became a subsidiary of Pierrot (company), Pierrot in 2008 and changed its name to Pierrot Plus in 2009. Kusano stepping down as CEO to become a chairman, and was replaced by CEO of Arms, Osamu Shimizu. On September 20, 2019, the company changed its name to Studio Signpost. A or ''kabushiki kaisha'', commonly abbreviated K.K. or KK, is a type of defined under the Companies Act of Japan. The term is often translated as "stock company", "joint-stock company" or "stock corporation". Ryuhei Tamura
is a Japanese manga artist. He is best known for being author and illustrator of the manga ''Beelzebub'' which was first published as a one shot in ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'', 2008. It was then serialised in 2009. () are Chinese-language comics produced in China and Taiwan. Whilst Chinese comics and narrated illustrations have existed in China in some shape or form throughout its imperial history, the term first appeared in 1904 in a comic titled ''Current Affairs Comics'' () in the Shanghai-based newspaper ''Jingzhong Daily'' (). Fujio Akatsuka
was a pioneer Japanese artist of comical manga known as the Gag Manga King. His name at birth is 赤塚 藤雄, whose Japanese pronunciation is the same as 赤塚 不二夫. He was born in Rehe, Manchuria, the son of a Japanese military police officer. After World War II, he grew up in Niigata Prefecture and Nara Prefecture. When he was 19, he moved to Tokyo. While working at a chemical factory, he drew many manga. After that, Tokiwa-so accepted him. He started his career as a shōjo artist, but in 1958, his ''Nama-chan'' (ナマちゃん) became a hit, so he became a specialist in comic manga. Tensai Bakabon
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujio Akatsuka, which began publication on April 9, 1967, in ''Weekly Shōnen Magazine''. It is about the misadventures of a dim-witted boy (Bakabon) and his idiotic father, the latter of whom eventually becomes the central character. It has been adapted into five anime television series.
