Stress Is Three
''Stress Is Three'' (Original title: Stress-es tres-tres) is a 1968 Spanish drama film directed by Carlos Saura. The film stars Geraldine Chaplin and Fernando Cebrián as a troubled married couple. Their marital problems are partially a consequence of Spain's rapidly modernizing consumer society. Saura explains that his film is "the study of the crisis in a seemingly developed society, the crisis of the modern Spaniard who, underneath the new veneer, is still a medieval man, who still has working within him the old taboos and moral repressions from his religious past."Bratton, Jean. Carlos Saura
Carlos Saura Atarés (born 4 January 1932) is a Spanish film director, photographer and writer. Along with Luis Buñuel and Pedro Almodóvar, he is considered to be one of Spain’s most renowned filmmakers. He has a long and prolific career that spans over half a century. His films have won many international awards. Saura began his career in 1955 making documentary shorts. He quickly gained international prominence when his first feature-length film premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 1960. Although he started filming as a neorealist, Saura quickly switched to films encoded with metaphors and symbolism in order to get around the Spanish censors. Elías Querejeta
Elías Querejeta Gárate (27 October 1934 – 9 June 2013), also known as Elías Querejeta () and known in the Spanish film industry as "The Producer", was a Spanish screenwriter and film producer. He is the father of Gracia Querejeta. Biography Querejeta was born in Hernani, Spain, and played soccer for Real Sociedad. By the age of 18 he was making his debut in the Spanish first division with San Sebastián's team, Real Sociedad (his position was midfielder; his brother José María also played, as a goalkeeper). But his career in sports ended in 1959, when he moved to Madrid to set up his own film production company. Angelino Fons Fernández (6 March 1936 – 7 June 2011), was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. He is known for his debut film '' La busca'' (''The Search'') (1966). His career was closely linked to literature, adapting classic Spanish novels to the big screen. Geraldine Chaplin
Geraldine Leigh Chaplin (born July 31, 1944) is an American actress. She is the daughter of Charlie Chaplin, the first of eight children with his fourth wife, Oona O'Neill. After beginnings in dance and modeling, she turned her attention to acting, and made her English-language acting debut (and came to prominence in what would be a Golden Globe-nominated role) in her portrayal of Tonya in David Lean's ''Doctor Zhivago'' (1965). Juan Luis Galiardo Comes (2 March 1940 – 22 June 2012) was a Spanish television, theater and film actor. Fernando Sánchez Polack (11 August 1920 – 24 January 1982) was a Spanish actor. He appeared in more than 110 films and television shows between 1959 and 1982, mostly of them as a supporting character in Spaghetti Western films.
