Stratos Perperoglou
Efstratios "Stratos" Perperoglou ( Greek: Στράτος Περπέρογλου; born August 7, 1984) is a Greek former professional basketball player. He is 2.03 m (6'8") tall and he played mainly at the small forward position. Professional career Perperoglou began his playing career with the youth clubs of AO Kavalas and Iviskos. He started his professional career with Ilysiakos in 2002, and then he moved to Panionios in 2004. In 2007, he transferred from Panionios to the big Greek EuroLeague club Panathinaikos. With Panathinaikos, Perperoglou won 4 Greek League championships (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) and 3 Greek Cups (2008, 2009, 2012). He also won 2 EuroLeague titles (2009, 2011), and the Triple Crown with Panathinaikos, in 2009. In August 2012, he signed a two-year contract with Olympiacos. ABA League
The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021. The Basketball League of Serbia ( sr, Кошаркашка лига Србије, Košarkaška liga Srbije; abbr. КЛС or KLS), is a top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia. The ABA League Supercup, also credited as ABA Super Cup, is an annual men's professional basketball supercup competition between teams from the ABA League. It is run by the ABA League JTD. It is a regional competition, that is contested between teams from six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. History The ABA League Assembly, held on July 24, 2017, in Belgrade, Serbia, decided to organize the ABA League Supercup, with 8 participants. The Supercopa de España de Baloncesto 2015 is the 12th edition of the tournament since it is organized by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto, ACB and the 16th overall. The 2018–19 ABA League First Division is the 18th season of the ABA League with 12 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Serbia participating in it. It is the first time since the 2011–12 season that there are no participants from North Macedonia.
