Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival
The Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival (SEFFF) (French: ''Festival Européen du Film Fantastique de Strasbourg ''(''FEFFS'')), is an annual film festival held in Strasbourg, France, that focus on fantasy, science fiction and horror films. The festival takes place annually in September since 2008, it derives from the Spectre Film Festival that was created in 2005 by the organization ''Les Films du Spectre''. Notable past guests of the festival include Tobe Hooper, Lamberto Bava, Catherine Breillat, Marina De Van, Ruggero Deodato, Lucky McKee, Agnès Merlet, Caroline Munro, Philippe Nahon, Brian Yuzna, Roger Corman, Mick Garris and George A. Romero. Moreover, since 2009 the festival starts with the Great Strasbourg Zombie Walk, it has become one of the largest in Europe with around 4000 participants in 2014. Strasbourg

Mick Garris
Mick Garris (born December 4, 1951) is an American filmmaker and screenwriter born in Santa Monica, California. He is best known for his work in the horror film genre, as well as making Stephen King adaptations. Early life Garris was born in Santa Monica, California and raised in Van Nuys. Career He is known for his work in the horror genre. He has worked with Stephen King several times, such as directing the horror film '' Sleepwalkers'', written by King and starring Mädchen Amick and is the creator of the Showtime series ''Masters of Horror'' and the NBC series '' Fear Itself''. Space Opera
Space opera is a subgenre of science fiction that emphasizes space warfare, with use of melodramatic, risk-taking space adventures, relationships, and chivalric romance. Set mainly or entirely in outer space, it features technological and social advancements (or lack thereof) in faster-than-light travel, futuristic weapons, and sophisticated technology, on a backdrop of galactic empires and interstellar wars with fictional aliens, often in fictional galaxies. The term has no relation to opera music, but is instead a play on the terms "soap opera", a melodramatic television series, and "horse opera", which was coined during the 1930s to indicate a clichéd and formulaic Western film.
