Stingray Timmins
Scott "Stingray" Timmins is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Ben Nicholas. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 11 March 2004. Stingray was introduced as Toadfish Rebecchi's (Ryan Moloney) cousin. The role earned Nicholas a Logie Award nomination for Best New Talent. Casting In 2004, it was announced that Ben Nicholas had joined ''Neighbours''. He began filming his first scenes three days after learning he had secured the role following an audition. Nicholas relocated from Adelaide to Melbourne to be closer to the show's studios. The show marked his first major television appearance. He said joining the cast was "a dream come true". In October 2006, it was announced that Nicholas was to leave ''Neighbours''. Alan Fletcher (born 30 March 1957) is an Australian actor of stage, television and film and musician. Fletcher is best known for TV soap opera ''Neighbours'', as Karl Kennedy. His on-screen wife is played by Jackie Woodburne, who coincidentally had previously played his sister in TV procedural drama ''Cop Shop''. Karl Kennedy is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Alan Fletcher. The actor previously appeared in the soap in 1987 as mechanic Greg Cooper. He made his first screen appearance as Karl during the episode broadcast on 20 September 1994.
