Still Tippin'
"Still Tippin" is a song by American rapper Mike Jones, released on November 12, 2004 as his debut and lead single from his album '' Who Is Mike Jones?'' (2005). Prior to this, it was also used as a single to promote Swisha House's compilation album, '' The Day Hell Broke Loose 2'' (2003). The song features vocals from rappers Slim Thug and Paul Wall, the latter in his first single appearance. The beat was produced by Salih Williams, featuring a hypnotic refrain from a Swishahouse song of Slim Thug from years past. In an interview with MTV, Jones stated that the "tippin'" of the title is a synonym for " cruising" (i.e. driving). He also added that "tippin' on four 4s, wrapped in four Vogues" refers to rims with "the spokes that you see sticking out" wrapped in Vogue tires, which he explains "were made in 1984 by Cadillac and those were the most popular ones at the time". Curtis Williams (born January 19, 1976), more commonly known as Spider Loc, is an American rapper and actor. He was formerly signed to Interscope Records and 50 Cent's G-Unit Records. Milton Powell (born November 29, 1977), better known by his stage name Big Pokey, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. Pokey is associated with chopped and screwed music, and is one of the original members of the Screwed Up Click. The Screwed Up Click (or S.U.C.) is an American hip hop collective based in Houston, Texas, that was led by DJ Screw. ''The Day After Hell Broke Loose'' is a compilation album released by Rap-a-Lot Records in conjunction with producer Bigg Time. Background Production was entirely handled by Bigg Time, with famed southern hip hop producer and frequent Rap-a-Lot contributor Mike Dean providing mixing, master and drum programming for the album. The album serves as a sequel to Swishahouse's 1999 compilation ''The Day Hell Broke Loose'', which was also produced by Bigg Tyme. As such, most of the album features songs performed by Swishahouse members such as Mike Jones, Chamillionaire and Slim Thug, though Rap-a-Lot artists such as Scarface and Devin the Dude also appear on the album.
