Stewart's Shops is an American chain of convenience stores located primarily in eastern Upstate New York and southwestern Vermont, owned by the Dake family and the employees through an ESOP plan. Headquartered in Ballston Spa (with a Saratoga Springs address), the company is well-established, particularly in the Capital District, Adirondacks and North Country. Within New York, its footprint stretches as far north as the Canada–US border, as far west as Oswego and as far south as Goshen at the northern fringe of the New York metropolitan area. Its Vermont outlets can be found in Rutland and Bennington counties. Known for branded ice cream, potato chips, hard rolls, root beer, milk, coffee and other drinks, three-fourths of their stores also sell gasoline—either their own brand or in partnership with Sunoco. Ballston Spa is a village and the county seat of Saratoga County, New York, United States, located southwest of Saratoga Springs. The population of the village, named after Rev. Eliphalet Ball, a Congregationalist clergyman and an early settler, was 5,111 at the 2020 census. Ballston Spa lies on the border of two towns, situated partly in the Town of Ballston and partly in the Town of Milton. South Glens Falls, New York
South Glens Falls is a village in Saratoga County, New York, United States. The population was 3,518 at the 2010 census. The village is in the northern part of the Town of Moreau, south of the City of Glens Falls. Cooper's Cave, shown on the village seal, is named after the author, '' James Fenimore Cooper''.
