Steven Jackson
Steven Rashad Jackson (born July 22, 1983) is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons, primarily with the St. Louis Rams. He played college football at Oregon State and was selected in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Rams, where he spent his first nine seasons. In his final three seasons, he was a member of the Atlanta Falcons from 2013 to 2014 and the New England Patriots in 2015. Named to three Pro Bowls and two All-Pro teams during his Rams tenure, Jackson is the franchise's all-time leading rusher. Early years Jackson was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was a running back for Eldorado High School. Stephen Jackson (1890 – 26 October 1917) was an English professional footballer who played as a full back in the Southern Football League for Coventry City. Personal life Jackson was married. In September 1914, a month after the outbreak of the First World War, he enlisted as a sergeant in the South Staffordshire Regiment. Jackson served at Gallipoli and was wounded, being transferred to France upon his recovery. In April 1917, he was awarded the Military Medal for conduct displayed during fighting at Bullecourt. Jackson was later appointed as an acting company sergeant major and was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal for conduct during a trench raid at Bullecourt. Stephen Philip Jackson, FRS, FMedSci, (born 17 July 1962) is the Frederick James Quick Professor of Biology. He is a Senior Group Leader and Head of Cancer Research UK Laboratories at the Gurdon Institute. Stephen Jackson (born January 26, 1970) is a musician from Washington D.C. Most notably he is a founding member, singer and songwriter for the Washington D.C. based band the Pietasters and the record labels Slug Tone! and Indication Records. Musical career While attending college at Virginia Tech, Stephen Jackson and high school friends Tal Bayer, Chris Watt and Tom Goodin formed the ska, punk-rock band the Slugs in 1990. After changing the name to the Dancehall Crashers and eventually the Pietasters, the band soon began playing shows with bands like the Skunks, Bad Manners and Bim Skala Bim. The Pietasters soon began recording their first musical tracks, and released early EPs and a full-length self-titled tape on their own SlugTone! label in 1990 and 1991.
