Steve Baker (baseball)
Steven Byrne Baker (born August 30, 1956) is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher who played for four seasons. He pitched for the Detroit Tigers from 1978 to 1979, the Oakland Athletics from 1982 to 1983, and the St. Louis Cardinals in 1983. He was originally drafted by the New York Mets in the 18th round of the 1974 MLB Draft, but did not sign with them, instead choosing to attend college at the University of Oregon. With things not working out in Oregon, Baker left school his freshman year and returned to El Cajon, California. Baker regrouped and was masterful in a season with the Grossmont Junior College Baseball team in El Cajon and he signed with the Detroit Tigers as an amateur free agent on May 10, 1976. After spending part of the 1978 season in the minor leagues, Baker made his major league debut on May 25, 1978. In a contest against the Baltimore Orioles, he pitched 6 innings, striking out six and allowing one earned run as the Tigers lost to the Orioles, 2–1. ...

Stephen Baker (born 2 December 1961) is an English former professional association footballer who played as a defender. Football career Southampton Born in Wallsend, Baker was a member of the Wallsend Boys Club where he was spotted by scouts from First Division club, Southampton. After a trial, he joined the south coast club as an apprentice in July 1978, shortly after his 16th birthday, going on to sign a professional contract in December 1979. He made his debut for the reserves in March 1979, and for the next two seasons he shared the right-back position in the reserves with Manny Andruszewski, before making an "impressive" first team debut in the final game of the 1980–81 season at Ipswich Town on 13 May. Steven Richard Baker (born 8 September 1978 in Pontefract, West Yorkshire) is an English footballer who played as a defender for Middlesbrough, Huddersfield Town, Darlington and Hartlepool United. Baker made his debut for Middlesbrough in the 1997-98 campaign, and went on to make five league appearances that season as they were promoted to the Premier League. The following season he made just two Premier League appearances. He suffered two cruciate ligament injuries in the space of three years. Baker also represented the Republic of Ireland under-21 team over a five-year period, earning over 35 caps. Steve Baker (born May 6, 1957) is an American retired ice hockey goaltender who played 57 NHL regular season games with the New York Rangers between 1979 and 1983. Early life Baker was born in Boston and raised in Braintree, Massachusetts. He was a member of the Union College men's hockey team, resigning in protest when his coach Ned Harkness was forced to resign. Career Baker was drafted by the Rangers with the 44th pick overall in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft. Steve Baker (born September 5, 1952) is an American former professional Grand Prix motorcycle roadracer. He is notable for being the first American to win a road racing world championship when he won the 1977 Formula 750 title. Baker was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999. Motorcycle racing career Born in Bellingham, Washington, Baker began his career racing on the dirt track ovals of the Pacific Northwest. He then switched to road racing and began competing in Canada, becoming a three-time Canadian champion. Baker began competing in the AMA National Championship in 1973 and experienced his first success when he finished second to former world champion Kel Carruthers at the Talladega Superspeedway. Steven Paul Baker (born 22 May 1980) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) from 1999 to 2011. AFL career Baker was drafted in the 1998 AFL Draft at pick 27 in a second round pick to the St Kilda Football Club. Baker played in St Kilda’s 2004 Wizard Home Loans Cup winning side – St Kilda's second pre-season cup win. Space Crusade
''Space Crusade'' is an adventure board game produced by Milton Bradley together with Games Workshop and was first made in 1990. It was produced in the UK and available in some other countries including Finland, Ireland, France, Spain, Denmark, Australia and New Zealand. In Germany, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands, it is known as ''Star Quest''. It is a sister game to '' HeroQuest'', which was also produced by Milton Bradley and Games Workshop. It uses many of the concepts of the Games Workshop's '' Space Hulk'' and ''Warhammer 40,000'' games, but at a much simpler level of game play. The game was designed by Steven Baker.
