Coney Hatch is a Canadian hard rock band who released three albums in the 1980s and released their fourth album ''Four'' in 2013. Based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the band consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Carl Dixon, vocalist and bassist Andy Curran, guitarist Steve Shelski and drummer Dave 'Thumper' Ketchum. The band was known for its loud live shows. In 2018, the band toured eight shows across Canada and played Germany's H.E.A.T. festival with Sean Kelly on lead guitar. Accept are a German heavy metal band from the town of Solingen, formed in 1976 by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann and former members Udo Dirkschneider (vocals) and Peter Baltes (bass). Their beginnings can be traced back to the late 1960s, when the band got its start under the name Band X. Accept's lineup has changed over the years, which has included different singers, guitarists, bassists and drummers. Phillip Sampognaro (March 13, 1958 – May 3, 2021), known professionally as Phil Naro, was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and guitarist, known for his participation in the hard rock bands Talas, Chain Reaction, and Coney Hatch. He was the singer of the 2009 Daytime Emmy Award winning song for the television show 6teen. Biography Musical career Naro began his singing career in the 1970s in high school bands. In 1979, he moved to Toronto to join the Canadian group Chain Reaction, with which he recorded the albums X-Rated Dream 1 and X-Rated Dream 2. When he returned to the United States, he joined the hard rock band Talas, led by bassist Billy Sheehan. When David Lee Roth left the Van Halen line-up in the mid-1980s and became a solo act, he hired Sheehan as his bassist for his band, leading to Naro leaving Talas. James LaBrie
Kevin James LaBrie (born May 5, 1963) is a Canadian singer, best known as the lead singer of American progressive metal band Dream Theater, which he has been fronting since 1991. Early life Kevin James LaBrie was born in Penetanguishene, Ontario, Canada and started playing drums at age five. By his mid-teens, he was a member of several bands as a front man that attempted singing and/or drumming. He stopped playing drums at age 17 and in 1981, at age 18, he moved to Toronto. Career Coney Hatch LaBrie joined Coney Hatch in 1986 when they were attempting a new lineup. The band recorded a number of demonstration tapes in their rehearsal studio and performed live in Ontario clubs for several months. The Guess Who are a Canadian rock band formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1965. April Wine is a Canadian rock band formed in 1969 and based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
