Stettbach Railway Station
Stettbach is a railway station on the north-eastern boundary of the Swiss city of Zürich. Although the station is located just within the city boundary, in the city's Schwamendingen district, it takes its name from the nearby village of Stettbach, which is in the adjacent municipality of Dübendorf. History Stettbach station, along with the Zürichberg Tunnel and the connecting railway on which the station is situated, were opened in 1990. At the same time Zürich Stadelhofen station was connected by the Hirschengraben Tunnel to new through low level platforms at Zürich Hauptbahnhof, thus creating the through west-east backbone of the Zürich S-Bahn. In conjunction with the opening of the Glattalbahn in 2010, the tram and bus station on the surface were rebuilt. Zürichberg
The Zürichberg is a wooded hill rising to 679 m (2,228 feet), overlooking Lake Zürich and located immediately to the east of the city of Zürich, Switzerland, between the valleys of the Limmat and the Glatt rivers. Its highest point is about 270 metres above the Limmat and it is part of a chain of hills, such as Käferberg, Adlisberg, Forch and Pfannenstiel, between the Greifensee/Glattal and Lake Zürich. It is a picturesque location, and the lower western side of the hill is now part of the residential district of Zürich. The Zürich Zoo and FIFA's headquarters are located on the Zürichberg as well. Trams make an important contribution to public transport in the city of Zürich in Switzerland.
