''Stepping Stone'' is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Lari White. Released on July 28, 1998 as her first album for Lyric Street Records after leaving RCA Nashville. The album's title track was a Top 20 hit on the '' Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts in mid-1998; "Take Me" and "John Wayne Walking Away" were also released as singles. The track "Only God Could Stop Me Loving You" was originally recorded by Billy Ray Cyrus on his 1994 album '' Storm in the Heartland''. Canadian country music band Emerson Drive would later record the song for their 2002 debut album ''Emerson Drive'' and release it as a single. Lari Michele White Cannon (, ; May 13, 1965 – January 23, 2018) was an American country music singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. She made her debut in 1988 after winning ''You Can Be a Star'', a televised talent competition on The Nashville Network. After an unsuccessful stint on Capitol Records Nashville, she signed to RCA Records Nashville in 1993. White released four albums for RCA between then and 1997: '' Lead Me Not'', '' Wishes'', '' Don't Fence Me In'', and the compilation '' The Best of Lari White''. ''What the World Needs Now Is Love'' is the sixth studio album by American country music artist Wynonna Judd, Wynonna, released in 2003 as her first album for Curb Records, Curb / Asylum Records. It produced four chart singles; the first of these, which was the title track, reached #14 on the ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' country charts. It was followed by "Heaven Help Me" at #37 and "Flies on the Butter" (a duet with her mother Naomi Judd, one half of The Judds) at #33. Fletcher Bangs "Biff" Watson is an American guitarist, songwriter, and producer. His musicianship has been a part of recording sessions for many artists. Biography Early years Raised in Chatham, Virginia, Watson learned how to play guitar at age 11. Hengber was born in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from New Milford High School in New Milford, New Jersey in 1977. She graduated from the Theatre Department of the C.W.
