Stephen Parry (cricketer)
Stephen David Parry (born 12 January 1986) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a slow left-arm bowler who played for Lancashire County Cricket Club. Parry made his senior debut for Lancashire in 2007 and in 2009 was named Lancashire's Young Player of the Year. From 2008 to 2012 Lancashire had two other left-arm orthodox spinners in their squad, with Parry competing with them for places in the team. Parry became established in Lancashire's limited overs teams, though played less frequently for the first-class side. Having previously represented England Lions, Parry made his One Day International debut against the West Indies in March 2014, and played his first Twenty20 International against the same opponents later that month. Christopher Paget
Christopher Paget (born 2 November 1987) is an English cricketer. Born in Stafford, he is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler who has played for Derbyshire since 2004. At the time of his debut, he was the youngest ever player to line up for the Derbyshire team in the Championship, at 16 years and 282 days. Paget quickly proved to be an off-spinner remarkably adept at achieving the scalps of right-handers, such as those of the West Indian touring team of 2004. In his debut season, he played four matches, taking three wickets at an average of 68.66. In his County Championship debut, in the same year, he was to prove expensive in a draw at Headingley against Derbyshire. 2015 T20 Blast
The 2015 NatWest t20 Blast was the second season of the NatWest t20 Blast, the English and Welsh Twenty20 cricket competition. The competition ran from 15 May 2015 to Finals Day at Edgbaston on 29 August. The competition was won for the first time by Lancashire Lightning, who defeated Northamptonshire Steelbacks in the final. Format The 18 teams are divided into two groups of nine. In the style of a round-robin tournament, each team will play six other teams in their group both home and away. The other two teams will be faced just once. The top four teams from each group qualify for the knockout stage: a three-round single-elimination tournament. The winner of each group will have a home match in the quarter-finals against the fourth team from the other group. David Hughes (Lancashire Cricketer)
David Paul Hughes (born 13 May 1947) is an English former cricketer. David Hughes was a stalwart of the Lancashire County Cricket Club, Lancashire side for more than two decades, making 10,419 first-class cricket, first-class runs. He batted right-handed and took 655 wickets with his left-arm orthodox spin, left-arm spin. Hughes was born in Newton-le-Willows, St Helens, Merseyside, St Helens, Lancashire. Making his debut in 1967, he was county cap, capped in 1970. Surrey County Cricket Club (Surrey CCC) is a first-class club in county cricket, one of eighteen in the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. Lancashire County Cricket Club represents the historic county of Lancashire in English cricket. The club has held first-class status since it was founded in 1864. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level. Steven Croft (cricketer)
Steven John Croft (born 11 October 1984) is an English first-class cricketer who has played for Lancashire County Cricket Club since 2005. He bats right-handed and can bowl both medium-fast and off breaks. In 2008 Croft was given the Lancashire members' Player of the Year and One-Day Player of the Year awards. In 2008/09 he played for the Auckland Aces in New Zealand as an overseas player. Awarded his Lancashire cap in 2010, Croft was part of the Lancashire team that won the County Championship in 2011.
