Bo-kyung Kim (born October 16, 1987), better known as Stephanie Kim or Stephanie, is an American singer, ballerina and musical actress based in South Korea. Born and raised in California, she went to South Korea and joined SM Entertainment after winning Youth Best Selection Competition in February 2004. After years of training, she debuted as a member of South Korean girl group The Grace in April 2005. In October 2012, she began her solo career with the release of single album ''The New Beginning''. Career 2005-2010: The Grace (band) and solo career Stephanie made her debut as a member of the girl group The Grace in 2005. Since then, they released three studio albums and ten singles. Kim Kwang-seok (Hangul: 김광석 ; January 22, 1964 – January 6, 1996) was a popular and influential South Korean folk rock singer. He debuted in 1987 as a member of Noraereul Channeun Saramdeul, an activist folk band. He achieved widespread popularity as a member of the folk band Dongmulwon, which debuted in 1988. The following year, in 1989, he released his first solo album. His songs were popular for their sentimental lyrics that critics said "portrayed individuals' sorrow and frustration at a time when the society was struggling in its early stage of democracy following rapid industrialization." Crayon Pop (Hangul: 크레용팝) is a South Korean girl group formed under Chrome Entertainment in 2012. The group consisted of four members: Geummi, Ellin, Choa, and Way. Their fifth member, Soyul, left the group in 2017. Crayon Pop officially debuted in July 2012 with their performance of "Saturday Night" on Mnet's ''M! Countdown''.
