Steph Catley
Stephanie-Elise Catley (born 26 January 1994) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Arsenal and the Australia national team. She can play in many positions in defence, such as left-back, centre-back or sweeper. She previously played for Reign FC, Orlando Pride and Portland Thorns FC in the American National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) as well as Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City in the Australian W-League. Catley was named PFA Women's Player of the Year in 2020. She was awarded the W-League's Young Player of the Year for the 2012–13 season and the Female U20 Footballer of the Year by Football Federation Australia in 2012 and 2013. Sweeper
Sweepers are small, tropical marine (occasionally brackish) perciform fish of the family Pempheridae. Found in the western Atlantic Ocean and Indo-Pacific region, the family contains about 26 species in two genera. One species (''Pempheris xanthoptera'') is the target of subsistence fisheries in Japan, where the fish is much enjoyed for its taste. Sweepers are occasionally kept in marine aquaria. Description Deeply keeled, compressed bodies and large eyes typify sweepers, their form somewhat like hatchetfish; both cycloid and ctenoid scales may be present. The 2014 W-League season was the seventh season of the W-League, the Australian national women's association football competition. The regular season started on 13 September 2014 and concluded on 7 December 2014. The Grand Final took place on 21 December 2014. 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup
The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup was the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international soccer championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Canada for the first time and by a North American country for the third time. Matches were played in six cities across Canada in five time zones. The 2015 season is the Portland Thorns FC's third season of existence in the National Women's Soccer League, the top division of women's soccer in the United States. FC Kansas City was an American professional women's soccer club based in Kansas City, Missouri.
