Stepan Chernovetskyi
Stepan Chernovetskyi (born 28 October 1978) is Ukrainian businessman, investor, founder of ''Chernovetskyi Investment Group'' (CIG). Biography Stepan was born in Tbilisi on October 28, 1978. In 2003, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Business In 1997, Stepan started working as a customer service manager at Pravex-Bank, established by his father Leonid Chernovetskyi, and then headed various departments of the bank, including the Main Department of the branch network. Until 2006, Stepan was the bank's senior vice president. In May 2006, he became the president of the Supervisory Board of Pravex Bank. The shareholders decided to sell the bank in 2007. Stepan Chernovetskyi negotiated the deal with an Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo. In February 2008, Pravex Bank was sold for $750 million. Leonid Chernovetskyi Bloc ( uk, Блок Леоніда Черновецького) was a regional political alliance supporting the Mayor of Kyiv Leonid Chernovetskyi based in the city of Kyiv. At the 2008 combined Kyiv Mayoral election and Kyiv City Council election the party won the most seats in the Kyiv City Council. Variola
Smallpox was an infectious disease caused by variola virus (often called smallpox virus) which belongs to the genus Orthopoxvirus. The last naturally occurring case was diagnosed in October 1977, and the World Health Organization (WHO) certified the global eradication of the disease in 1980, making it the only human disease to be eradicated. The initial symptoms of the disease included fever and vomiting. This was followed by formation of ulcers in the mouth and a skin rash. Over a number of days, the skin rash turned into the characteristic fluid-filled blisters with a dent in the center. The bumps then scabbed over and fell off, leaving scars. The disease was spread between people or via contaminated objects. Prevention was achieved mainly through the smallpox vaccine.
