Stefanie Berset
Stefanie Berset (born c. 1996), is a Swiss curler from Bern. She currently plays third on Team Michèle Jäggi. Career Berset played for the Jana Stritt rink in juniors, but never was able to win the Swiss Junior Curling Championships. When she aged out of juniors, she joined the Binia Feltscher rink for the 2018–19 season. She and Larissa Hari replaced Franziska Kaufmann who had retired from competitive curling and Irene Schori who formed her own team. Carole Howald moved from lead to third. Team Feltscher had a pretty successful first year together although they didn't win any events. They made the finals at the Women's Masters Basel and the Swiss Women's Curling Championship and finished fourth at the Schweizer Cup. They also had five quarterfinal appearances including qualifying at the 2018 Tour Challenge Tier 2 Grand Slam of Curling event. 2021 Swiss Women's Curling Championship
The 2021 Swiss Women's Curling Championship, Switzerland's national women's curling championship, was held from February 6 to 13 at the Curlingzentrum Region Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland. The winning Silvana Tirinzoni rink then played against the 2020 Swiss champion Elena Stern rink for the right represent Switzerland at the 2021 World Women's Curling Championship. The event was held between four teams playing in a triple round robin. The top two teams played a best of three to determine the winner while the bottom two teams played in the bronze medal game. Team Silvana Tirinzoni finished the event with a perfect 11–0 record and defeated Team Elena Stern two games to zero in the best of three final. 2020 Women's Masters Basel
The 2020 Women's Masters Basel was held from September 18 to 20 at the Curlingzentrum Region Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland as part of the World Curling Tour. The event was held in a round-robin format with a purse of 32,000 CHF. It was the first women's event of the 2020–21 curling season. Olympic Gold Medalists Anna Hasselborg from Sweden defeated Raphaela Keiser from Switzerland in the final to win the event. Hasselborg finished the round robin with a perfect 4–0 record and won all three of their playoff games to claim the title. Team Keiser upset Swiss champions Elena Stern in the semifinal to qualify for the final. Keiser is coached by two-time world champion Binia Feltscher. The event was intended to use a triple-knockout format, like previous years, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic many teams had to opt-out of the event, leaving a smaller field than usual. 2020 Schweizer Cup
The 2020 Schweizer Cup (French: ''Cup Suisse'') was held from August 20 to 23 in Baden, Switzerland. The total purse for the event was 11,000 Swiss francs on both the men's and women's sides. Similar to the Canada Cup held in Canada, the Schweizer Cup is an annual event where the top teams in Switzerland compete in a round robin and playoff round. Team Peter de Cruz from Geneva opted out of the tournament as they prepared for the Baden Masters the following week. In the men's event, Andrin Schnider and his team from Schaffhausen took the title in a draw to the button against Yannick Schwaller of Bern. In the bronze medal game, Jan Hess came from behind, scoring four points in the seventh end and stealing one in the eighth to defeat Jan Klossner. 2020 Swiss Women's Curling Championship
The 2020 Swiss Women's Curling Championship, Switzerland's national women's curling championship, was held from February 9 to 15 in Thun, Switzerland. The winning Elena Stern team was supposed to represent Switzerland at the 2020 World Women's Curling Championship at the CN Centre in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada but the event got cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event featured the reigning World Champion rink Silvana Tirinzoni from Aarau, the Elena Stern rink from CC Oberwallis and two time World Champion team Binia Feltscher from Langenthal. In the final, Stern capped off an undefeated week by defeating Tirinzoni's team for the third time during the competition. Feltscher won the bronze medal with a 9–8 win over Nora Wüest. The 2019 Changan Ford International Curling Elite was held from December 5 to 10 in Xining, Qinghai, China. The total purse for the event was CNY 225,000. 2019 Tour Challenge
The 2019 KIOTI TRACTOR Tour Challenge was held from November 5 to 10, at the Pictou County Wellness Centre in Westville Road, Nova Scotia. It was the second Grand Slam event of the 2019–20 season. In the men's tier 1 final, Brad Jacobs of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario defeated Brad Gushue of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador to win his 5th Grand Slam. In the tier 2 final, Korey Dropkin defeated Tanner Horgan to earn a spot at the 2020 Canadian Open in January.
