Stefan Peno ( sr-cyr, Стефан Пено, born August 3, 1997) is a Serbian-Guyanese professional basketball player for Lietkabelis Panevėžys of the Lithuanian Basketball League and the EuroCup. Standing at a height of , he plays primarily at the point guard position. Professional career The son of a Guyanese mother and a Serbian father, Peno began playing basketball with the junior youth teams of OKK Belgrade. He joined the youth teams of FC Barcelona in the 2011–12 season. He made his professional debut with the reserve team of FC Barcelona, FC Barcelona B, in the Spanish 2nd-tier level LEB Oro, during the 2013–14 season. During the 2014–15 season, he continued to play with the reserve team of FC Barcelona, FC Barcelona B, but spent that season competing in the Spanish 3rd-tier level LEB Plata. FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship
The FIBA U18 European Championship, originally known as the European Championship for Juniors, is a youth men's basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1964 edition. The Spanish basketball league system is a series of connected competitions for professional basketball clubs in Spain. 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship
The 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship (Arabic: بطولة العالم لكرة السلة 2014 تحت 17 سنة ) was the 3rd edition of the FIBA Under-17 World Championship, the biennial international men's youth basketball championship contested by the U17 national teams of the member associations of FIBA. It was hosted by Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 8 to 16 August 2014. This edition of the tournament was also expanded to sixteen teams. The preliminary round took place in Al-Ahli Arena and Al-Wasl Arena, with the Hamdan Sports Complex hosting the final round.
