''Simon and the Oaks'' ( sv, Simon och ekarna) is a Swedish drama film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 9 December 2011, directed by Lisa Ohlin and starring Bill Skarsgård. The film is based on the novel with the same name by Marianne Fredriksson. The film was nominated in 13 categories at the 47th Guldbagge Awards, won two of the awards: Cecilia Nilsson for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the role as Inga, and Jan Josef Liefers for Best Actor in a Supporting Role as Ruben Lentov. Ohlin took over as director for the film, after the director Björn Runge in April 2009 announced that he would drop out of the production. In May 2009, the Swedish Film Institute (SFI) announced that Ohlin quits her job as film commissioner at the SFI to direct the film. ''The Marriage of Gustav III'' ( sv, Gustav III:s äktenskap) is a Swedish television series in two parts built upon a period in the life of King Gustav III of Sweden. The series aired in 2001. The director was Marcus Olsson and the manuscript writer was Klas Östergren. Plot The series take place at the royal Swedish court in the 1770s on the Royal Palace, Stockholm, and Ekolsund Castle. The plot portrays the famous event in 1775 when the King, after nine years of marriage, decides to consummate his marriage with the Queen in order to provide an heir to the throne. The reconciliation between the royal couple is managed by Stable master Adolf Fredrik Munck af Fulkila and, though the event is followed by success in 1778, it resulted in a scandal where the legitimacy of the Crown Prince is questioned by the mother of the King. ''Andra Avenyn'' (in English ''Second Avenue'') is a Swedish drama series and soap opera, produced by SVT (Swedish Television) and broadcast from 2007 to 2010. Three series were produced. The show was created by Peter Emanuel Falck and Christian Wikander, who also created the Swedish soap operas ''Varuhuset'', ''Rederiet'' and '' Tre kronor''. For the title music, they used the song "Friday I'm in Love" by the British rock band The Cure. The series was shot in Gothenburg for SVT. Interior scenes were recorded in a recording studio, Santos House, on Lindholmen while outdoor scenes were recorded mainly in Kvillestaden/Brämaregården on Hisingen in Gothenburg. Andra Avenyn was nominated for the ''Kristallen'' TV Prize in 2008, in the category of "The best Swedish TV series", but did not win. The series is broadcast on TV4, which has presented eight seasons from 20 December 2010. The series follows Nora Linde (Alexandra Rapaport), a lawyer who owns a summer house on Sandhamn, and her assistance in solving various murders on or near that island. Portraying Nora's children, Simon and Anna, are real-life siblings, Lion Monn and Ping Monn, respectively.
