Steeplejack Brewing Company
Steeplejack Brewing Company is a brewery with three locations in the U.S. state of Oregon. The business operates in Portland and Hillsboro, and has announced plans to expand to Manzanita. Description and history Business partners Brody Day and Dustin Harder opened the original restaurant in 2021. Housed in the former Metropolitan Community Church in northeast Portland's Sullivan's Gulch neighborhood, the restaurant serves burgers and craft beer. In 2022, a second location opened on Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. The restaurant has a seating capacity of approximately 200 people, and serves pizza and salads, as well as arancini and polenta as sides. A third location in Hillsboro was announced in 2021, and began operating in 2022. In 2022, owners announced plans to open a fourth location in Manzanita. Northeast Portland, Oregon
Northeast Portland is one of the six major divisions of Portland, Oregon. Northeast Portland contains a diverse collection of neighborhoods. For example, while Irvington and the Alameda Ridge feature some of the oldest and most expensive homes in Portland, nearby King is a more working-class neighborhood. Because it is so large, Northeast Portland can essentially be divided ethnically, culturally, and geographically into inner and outer sections. Sullivan's Gulch, Portland, Oregon
Sullivan's Gulch is a neighborhood (north of the gulch of the same name) in the Northeast section of Portland, Oregon. The name commemorates Timothy Sullivan, an early farmer in the area. Sullivan settled his donation land claim on January 27, 1851. He was born in Ireland in 1805, received citizenship in the United States in 1855, and most likely received title to the claim around 1863. The compact, densely populated neighborhood borders the Lloyd District (with which it overlaps somewhat) on the west, Irvington and Grant Park on the north, and Kerns on the south. The gulch extends east from the Willamette River and originally was a forested riparian area featuring a spring-fed pool and waterfalls. Hillsboro ( ) is the fifth-largest city in the U.S. state of Oregon and is the county seat of Washington County. Manzanita, Oregon
Manzanita is a coastal city in Tillamook County, Oregon, United States. It is located on U.S. Route 101 about 25 miles (40 km) south of Seaside and 25 miles (40 km) north of Tillamook. The population was 603 at the 2020 census. History The indigenous Tillamook people lived along the Oregon coast, including the Manzanita area (tidewaters of the Nehalem Bay), for about twelve thousand years.
