Starman (wrestler)
Starman (16 November 1974 – 23 September 2022) was a Mexican professional wrestler who was active as a '' tecnico'' in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) from 1996. Starman's real name was not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. Professional wrestling career At the beginning he made his debut on 30 April 1994 in Naucalpan as Ultramán Jr. During his time in Naucalpan, he won the mask of Tortuguillo Karateka IV, one of the Ninja Turtles. By 1995 he had his first Japanese tour in July wrestling in Pro Wrestling Fujiwara Gumi. In November 1995, he teamed for the first time with Solar and Super Astro to reform the Cadetes del Espacio. César Baltazar de Lucio Valencia (born October 21, 1970) is a semi-retired Mexican ''Luchador'', or professional wrestler best known under the ring name Karloff Lagarde Jr. Despite what his ring name might suggest, he is not the son of Karloff Lagarde, but his nephew. Lucio is a former CMLL World Welterweight Champion and Mexican National Welterweight Champion. He currently makes limited appearances for International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) in Mexico. Ephesto
Ephesto (born June 10, 1965) is a Mexican luchador enmascarado (Spanish for "masked professional wrestler"). Ephesto's real name has not been officially documented, a tradition in Mexican lucha libre where masked wrestlers' real names often are not a matter of public record. The wrestler currently known as Ephesto made his debut in 1982 and worked for almost 20 years as Pantera del Ring with limited success. He later worked under the name Safari where he won the Mexican National Trios Championship on two occasions. His current ring name "Ephesto" is derived from the Spanish name for Hephaestus, the Greek god of fire, Hefesto; in fact, his name is sometimes spelled ''Hefesto'' in print sources. Javier Espinosa Romero (born December 30, 1973) is a Mexican ''luchador'', or masked professional wrestler best known under the ring name Tony Rivera. As Rivera he is currently working on the Mexican professional wrestling independent circuit portraying a '' tecnico'' ("Good guy") wrestling character. ''Ruleta de la Muerte'' (1999) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) that took place on July 18, 1999 in Palacio de los Deportes, Mexico City, Mexico. The show featured the ''Ruleta de la Muerte''¨(Spanish for "Roulette of Death") tournament, in which tag teams face off in a single elimination tournament, but unlike traditional tournaments it is the losing team that advances in the tournament. The losing team in the final match must wrestle each other in a ''Lucha de Apuestas'' match, where either their mask or their hair is on the line. Renato Ruíz Cortes (born May 9, 1977) is a Mexican professional wrestler better known by the ring name Averno (''Hell''). Ruíz initially worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) as Rencor Latino in 1995, but did not achieve any significant success until he adopted the ring name Averno in June 2001. Ricardo Amezquita Carreño (born December 9, 1968), better known by his ring name Virus, is a Mexican ''luchador'' (or professional wrestler). He is currently working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), and portrays a ''rudo'' ("Bad guy") wrestling character. José Angel García Paz (born November 4, 1974) is a Mexican ''Luchador'', or professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Zumbido (Spanish for "Buzz").
