Staniša ( sr-cyr, Станиша) is a Serbian masculine given name, derived from Slavic root ''stan'' and suffix ''-iša''. Staniša Mandić ( sr-cyr, Станиша Мандић; born 27 January 1995) is a Montenegrin professional footballer who plays as a striker for Serbian club Metalac Gornji Milanovac. He used to represent Serbia at Under-19 and Under-20 level, but at full international level, Mandić represented Montenegro in 2015, making 4 appearances. Club career Mandić made his first team debut with Čukarički in a 1–0 home league win over Napredak Kruševac on 6 April 2014. He scored his first competitive goal for the club in a 1–4 away loss against Red Star Belgrade on 12 April 2014. That was his only goal in four league appearances in the 2013–14 season. Staniša Radonjić ( sr-Cyrl, Станиша Радоњић), known as Staniša Popov (Станиша Попов; 1682 - 1693), was a Serbian Orthodox priest, chieftain (''vojvoda'') of the Njeguši tribe, and ''Serdar'' of the Prince-Bishopric of Montenegro. Staniša Stošić (Станиша Стошић) (July 26, 1945 – April 7, 2008) was a Serbian folk singer known for melodies from his home region of Vranje in Southern Serbia, which earned him the nickname of "Serbian Pavarotti" and "Father of the southern melodies". Stanisha Kastrioti ( la, Stanissa; 1421–45) was an Albanian nobleman, a member of the Kastrioti family, and older brother of Skanderbeg. His father Gjon Kastrioti was an Albanian lord who had possessions in the Mat region. His mother was Voisava, whose origin is disputed. It is unknown when Stanisha and his brothers were born, while his younger brother Skanderbeg is taken to have been born in 1405. He also had brothers Reposh and Kostandin, and five sisters, Mara, Jelena, Angelina, Vlajka and Mamica. The names of Stanisha and most of his siblings are Slavic. His father became an Ottoman vassal at the end of the 14th century, and as such, paid tribute and provided military services (like in the Battle of Ankara in 1402).
