Stadttor
Stadttor () is a 20-storey high-rise building in the Düsseldorf-Unterbilk, Unterbilk neighborhood of Düsseldorf, Germany. The building was designed by Düsseldorf-based architecture firm Petzinka Pink und Partner and completed in 1998. It marks the Southern entrance of Rheinufertunnel, which is also the reason for its parallelogram-shaped floor plan. The building features a 15-story Atrium (architecture), atrium and a Double-skin facade, double-facade, allowing natural ventilation even on higher elevation floors. duesseldorf.de From 1999 until 2017, the Stadttor was the seat of the state-chancellery of the Prime ministers of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Karl-Heinz Petzinka (born 7 January 1956) is a German architect, and Rector of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. He is known for office buildings in Düsseldorf and Berlin. He converted historic industrial buildings, and was responsible for the section architecture for the Ruhr.2010 project. Career Born in Bocholt, Petzinka studied architecture at the RWTH Aachen from 1976 and graduated in 1982 with the academic degree of Diplom-Ingenieur. In 1981, he received the North Rhine-Westphalia state's Förderpreis for young artists in the field of architecture. Unterbilk is an urban quarter in Borough 3 of the North Rhine-Westphalia state capital Düsseldorf. Rheinufertunnel
The Rheinufer Tunnel (german: Rheinufertunnel or "Rhine Bank Tunnel") is a road tunnel in Düsseldorf, Germany. The tunnel is part of the Bundesstraße 1, B1 German federal road.
