Stadionul Tineretului (Oradea)
Stadionul Tineretului is a multi-use stadium in Oradea, Romania. The stadium was opened on 4 June 1895 as part of the sports pavilion of the Rhédey Garden. Located in the southwestern part of the city between Nicolae Bălcescu Park and Oradea Zoological Garden, the stadium is considered to be the birthplace of many sports in the city located on the banks of the Crișul Repede river. Besides historical and sentimental value, the arena has also an architectural value, in the northern end of the stadium being a ground floor building and two small towers originally built to serve for dancing, a new restaurant and a buffet. The building is the work of famous architects Kálmán Rimanóczy Sr. and Kálmán Rimanóczy Jr. On 14 May 1898 on Stadionul Tineretului was held the first cycling contest and on 1 June 1902, the first football match was played. Michael I Of Romania
Michael I ( ro, Mihai I ; 25 October 1921 – 5 December 2017) was the last King of Romania, reigning from 20 July 1927 to 8 June 1930 and again from 6 September 1940 until his forced abdication on 30 December 1947. Shortly after Michael's birth, his father, Crown Prince Carol of Romania, had become involved in a controversial relationship with Magda Lupescu. In 1925, Carol was pressured to renounce his rights to the throne and moved to Paris in exile with Lupescu. In 1927, Michael ascended the throne, following the death of his grandfather King Ferdinand I. As Michael was still a minor, a regency council was instituted, composed of his uncle Prince Nicolae, Patriarch Miron Cristea and the president of the Supreme Court, Gheorghe Buzdugan. The council proved to be ineffective and, in 1930, Carol returned to Romania and replaced his son as monarch, reigning as Carol II. Club Atletic Oradea (Nagyváradi Atlétikai Club) (), commonly known as CA Oradea (Nagyváradi AC), or simply as CAO (NAC), is a Romanian football club based in Oradea, Bihor County, which competes in the Liga IV. Clubul Sportiv Luceafărul Oradea, commonly known as Luceafărul Oradea or simply as Luceafărul, is a Romanian professional football club from Oradea, Bihor County.
