Stadion Stanovi (English: ''Stanovi Stadium'') is a football stadium in the Zadar, Croatia. It serves as the home ground for football club HNK Zadar. The stadium has a capacity of 3,858. In the current form, the stadium was completed for the 1979 Mediterranean Games held in Split. Further expansion of the stadium is planned. After his completion the new 5,500 seats are available. The condition of the stadium does not meet the criteria of the HNS, especially UEFA. Hrvatski nogometni klub Zadar ( en, Croatian Football Club Zadar), commonly referred to as HNK Zadar or simply Zadar, is a Croatian professional football club based in the city of Zadar. Nogometni klub Zadar ( en, Football Club Zadar), commonly referred to as NK Zadar or simply Zadar, was a Croatian football club based in Zadar, a city on the Adriatic coast, best known for playing in the top flight of Croatian football for almost twenty years. 1979 Mediterranean Games
The 1979 Mediterranean Games, officially known as the VIII Mediterranean Games, and commonly known as Split 1979, were the 8th Mediterranean Games. The Games were held in Split, Yugoslavia, from 15 to 29 September 1979, where 2,408 athletes (2,009 men and 399 women) from 14 countries participated.
