Stadio Omobono Tenni
Stadio Omobono Tenni () is a football stadium in Treviso, Italy. It is currently the home of Treviso F.B.C. 1993. The stadium was built in 1933 and holds 10,001. After the inauguration in 1933, a friendly match between Treviso F.B.C. and Udinese was held, which was followed by a friendly against the Italian National Team. In the 1940s and 1950s the capacity of the stadium was of 12,000 seats. History The stadium was named after Omobono Tenni, a motorcycle road racer who lived in Treviso and fatally died in 1948 in Bern, Switzerland. On 24 January 1960, the stadium played host to a rugby league international between Italy and Australia. Stadio Pier Cesare Tombolato is a multi-use stadium in Cittadella, Italy. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of A.S. Cittadella. The stadium holds 7,623. History The stadium was named after Piercesare Tombolato, a goalkeeper of Cittadella who died in hospital after a collision with a rival player in a match against Calcio Padova in 1957. The stadium's capacity was boosted to 7,500 for the 2008–09 season, in order to enable A.S. Cittadella play in their home town, though it needed a dispensation from the FIGC, that requires a stadium of at least 10,000 seats for Serie B. Kangaroo Tour
Kangaroo Tour is the name given to Australian national rugby league team tours of Great Britain and France, tours to New Zealand and the one-off tour to Papua New Guinea (1991). The first Kangaroo Tour was in 1908. Traditionally, Kangaroo Tours took place every four years and involved a three-Test Ashes series against Great Britain (sometimes called Northern Union or The Lions) and a number of tour matches. The 1911/12 and 1921/22 tours were by the Australasian Kangaroos as both teams included New Zealand players. With origins dating back to the 1950s and 1960s, the team has competed regularly in international competitions since 2008, when their current governing body, the Federazione Italiana Rugby League, was formed.
