Stade Montois (football)
Stade Montois Football is a French association football club founded in 1921. They are based in the town of Mont-de-Marsan and their home stadium is the Stade de l'Argenté, which has a capacity of 6,000 spectators. As of the 2022–23 season, they play in the Championnat National 3. History Stade Montois Football was formed in 1921 as the association football section of Stade Montois Club Omnisports, a 28 section multi-sport club which is best known for its rugby team. The club was four-times consecutive champion of the Division d'Honneur South-West between 1945 and 1948, and as a result were qualified to play the first season of the national Championnat de France Amateur, the top level of amateur football in France, in the 1948–49 season. Stade Montois Rugby is a French rugby union team that currently is playing in Rugby Pro D2, Pro D2, the second level of the country's professional league system. They were founded in 1908 and play in yellow and black. Gaëtan Laborde
Gaëtan Laborde (born 3 May 1994) is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Nice. He represented the France national youth teams up to France U20 level. Club career Laborde started his career at Stade Montois before joining Bordeaux in 2008. He won the 2013 Coupe Gambardella with Bordeaux, scoring the winning goal in the final against Sedan. On 16 August 2018, Laborde joined Ligue 1 rivals Montpellier HSC on a four-year contract. The transfer fee paid to Bordeaux was reported as €3 million plus bonuses. A day later, Bordeaux's manager Gus Poyet was suspended by his club following an outburst in which he criticised the sale of Laborde. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. Between 1917 and 1919, the competition was called the Coupe Charles Simon, in tribute of Charles Simon, a French sportsman and the founder of the French Interfederal Committee (the ancestor of the French Football Federation), who died in 1915 while serving in World War I.
