Stade Braine
Royal Stade Brainois, often called just Stade Brainois was a Belgian football club from Braine-le-Comte, Hainaut, Wallonia. History The club was founded on 1 July 1923 as Amicale Athlétique Brainoise. Two years later it received the matricule 343, which it kept throughout its history. On 13 June 1951, the club became a "royal society", and adopted the name Royale Amicale Athlétique Brainoise accordingly. On the 1 July 1969, a neighboring club, Union Sportive Branoise, founded 7 April 1938, matricule 2607 was merged into the club and became Stade Branois. The club never reached higher in the league pyramid than the national fourth tier, where they spent the majority of their history. They suffered relegation 4 times; in 1978-79, 1987-88, 1995-96 and 2001-02. However they did win the Hainaut Championship 3 times and reached the 5th round of the national cup in 2018. The Belgian Division 3, commonly referred to as simply Derde Afdeling (in Dutch) or Division 3 (in French) is the fifth-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Division 2. It was created by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 2016 as a new layer at the fifth level of the league system, at that time named ''Belgian Third Amateur Division''. From the 2020–21 season on it was renamed to Belgian Division 3, due to the negative connotation of the word amateur. The 2010–11 Belgian Cup (also known as ''Cofidis Cup'' because of sponsoring purposes) is the 56th season of the main knockout football competition in Belgium. It commenced on 24 July 2010 with the first matches of Round 1 and will conclude with the Final in May 2011. K. A. A. The 2017–18 Belgian Cup, called the Croky Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 63rd season of Belgium's annual football cup competition. The competition began on 28 July 2017 and ended with the final on 17 March 2018. Zulte Waregem were the defending champions, but they were eliminated by Club Brugge in the Seventh Round. Standard Liège won the cup, beating Genk after extra time in the final. As the winner, Standard Liège was normally qualified for the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League Group Stage.
