St Helena Secondary College
St Helena Secondary College is a co-educational state secondary school in Eltham North, Victoria, Australia. The school is situated within the City of Banyule local council area. St Helena Secondary College has an enrolment ceiling (maximum number of students). Due to the demand for places at the school exceeding this ceiling in some years, the school has a geographic zone around it within which students are prioritised for enrolment. As well as its academic focus, St Helena has a number of extra-curricular activities including an extensive music program, musicals and sporting programs. Structure The school is divided into three separate 'mini schools', each catering for the needs of the students at the different stages of their development. Eltham North
Eltham North is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 21 km north-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Banyule and Shire of Nillumbik local government areas. Eltham North recorded a population of 6,830 at the 2021 census. Originally an outlying rural part of Eltham, it became a separate locality with the opening of the Eltham North Primary School in 1925. At that time the locality was known as Glen Park, and the name was recorded in street directories until the 1960s. Nevertheless, the postal district was Eltham North. Jaryd Clifford (born 5 July 1999) is an Australian Paralympic, vision impaired, middle-distance athlete. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics in athletics. He won gold medals in the Men's 1500m and 5000m T13 events at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships. Clifford represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, where he won silver medals in the Men's 5000m T13 and Men's Marathon T12, and a bronze medal in the Men's 1500 m T13. Adam Simpson (born 16 February 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer who is the current premiership coach of the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). A left-footed midfielder, his playing career for spanned from 1995 to 2009, where he played 306 games.
