St. Clair County Community College (SC4) is a public community college in Port Huron, Michigan. It serves as the primary center of higher education for the Blue Water Area. SC4 offers Associate degree and certificate programs. It also offers online classes and transfer programs to four-year institutions. In addition, working with University Center partners, students can earn Bachelor's and Master's degrees without even leaving the SC4 campus. Robert Lewis Thomson (born August 16, 1963) is a Canadian professional baseball manager for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball. During Thomson’s playing career, he was a catcher and third baseman in the Detroit Tigers organization from 1985 to 1988. The Thumb
The Thumb is a region and a peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan, so named because the Lower Peninsula is shaped like a mitten. The Thumb area is generally considered to be in the Central Michigan region, east of the Tri-Cities and north of Metro Detroit. The region is also branded as the Blue Water Area. The counties that constitute the Thumb form the peninsula that stretches northward into Lake Huron and Saginaw Bay.
