Ssu-Chia Cheng
Ssu-Chia Cheng ( zh, c=程思嘉; born 27 October 1997) is a Taiwanese professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. Early life and amateur career Cheng started playing golf at the age of 8 and as an amateur won four events on the Taiwan LPGA Tour, three of which were co-sanctioned by the Ladies Asian Golf Tour. She became the first amateur in Taiwan to capture three wins. She won her first Ladies European Tour event as an amateur at 17, the Xiamen Open International in Xiamen, China. Starting in 2012 at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia, she also made nine career starts on the LPGA Tour as an amateur, with best finish a tie for 15th at the 2014 LPGA Taiwan Championship. Cheng represented her country at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, and the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, winning the girls' individual silver at the latter. The Ladies Asian Golf Tour is a women's professional golf tour that was established as the Ladies Asia Golf Circuit in 1983 and known as the Kosaido Ladies Asia Golf Circuit 1987–2004 for sponsorship reasons. The tour was sanctioned by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation since its inception as an official Asian ladies' tour. Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship
The LPGA Taiwan Championship is a women's professional golf tournament in Taiwan on the LPGA Tour. It debuted as the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship in 2011 at the Sunrise Golf & Country Club in Yangmei. It was the first LPGA tournament ever played in Taiwan. It moved to Miramar Golf Country Club in Taipei and was renamed to the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship in 2014. The field is limited to 90 players who will play all 72 holes; however, there is a cut for LPGA season-long points championship purposes at the end of 72 holes of the top 40 and ties. 2016 International Crown
The 2016 International Crown was a women's golf team event organized by the LPGA, played July 21–24 at the Merit Club in Libertyville, Illinois, north of Chicago. This was the second International Crown, a biennial match play event contested between teams of four players representing eight countries. Format The first three days, Thursday through Saturday, featured round-robin pool play matches at fourball. Each match was worth two points for a win and one point for a halve. Following the completion of pool play, the top two teams in each pool and one wild card team advanced to singles play. The five remaining teams were re-seeded based on points earned in pool play, and each team played one singles match against each of the other teams on Sunday.
