Srđan Marjanović
Srđan Marjanović ( sr-cyr, Срђан Марјановић) is a Serbian singer-songwriter from Belgrade. Musical career Early career Marjanović was born in 1952 in Banja Luka. In 1961, he moved to Belgrade, where he became interested in rock music. He played guitar in the bands Svici (''Fireflys''), Usamljeni (''The Lonely Ones'') and Gru. In 1971, he travelled to Sweden, where he performed songs by Donovan and Bob Dylan, accompanying himself with a guitar and a harmonica. 1972 and onwards Marjanović returned to Belgrade in 1972, and soon became a part of the Serbian rock#Acoustic rock, Belgrade acoustic rock scene. At the time he also performed in the musical ''Jesus Christ Superstar'', played in Atelje 212, playing one of the priests. In 1973, at the Festival Omladina, he won the Jury Award for the song "Tražim" ("I Am Searching"). Banja Luka ( sr-Cyrl, Бања Лука, ) or Banjaluka ( sr-Cyrl, Бањалука, ) is the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the largest city of Republika Srpska. Donovan Phillips Leitch (born 10 May 1946), known mononymously as Donovan, is a Scottish musician, songwriter, and record producer. He developed an eclectic and distinctive style that blended folk, jazz, pop, psychedelic rock and world music (notably calypso). Drago Mlinarec (born 14 December 1942) is a Croatian Rock musician, rock musician who became known in the former SFR Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia with popular progressive rock band Grupa 220. Borisav "Bora" Đorđević ( sr-cyr, Борисав, Бора Ђорђевић; born 1 November 1952), also known as Bora Čorba ( sr-cyr, Бора Чорба), is a Serbian singer, songwriter, and poet. Opatija (; it, Abbazia; german: Sankt Jakobi) is a town and a municipality in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in western Croatia. Festival Omladina (English: ''Youth Festival''), also known as Omladinski Festival, is a music festival held in Subotica, Serbia. The festival was founded in 1961 as a competition of young composers of popular music. Their compositions were initially performed by pop singers, but soon the performers of competing compositions became rock bands. In the 1970s, the non-competitive part, featuring established rock acts, was added to the program, and in the 1980s the festival became a competition of young rock bands.
