Spring Ridge, Maryland
Spring Ridge is census-designated place (CDP) and suburban housing community in Frederick County, in the U.S. state of Maryland, just outside the city of Frederick. As of the 2020 census it had a population of 6,005. Before 2010, it was part of the Linganore-Bartonsville, Maryland census-designated place, which was split into three for the 2010 census. Geography Spring Ridge is in east-central Frederick County, bordered to the west, across the Monocacy River, by the city of Frederick; to the north by Linganore Creek; to the east, at Meadow Road, by the Linganore CDP; and to the south, across Maryland Route 144, by the Bartonsville CDP. Interstate 70 runs through the middle of the Spring Ridge CDP, leading west to Frederick and east to the Baltimore Beltway. Interstate 695 (I-695) is a full beltway Interstate Highway extending around Baltimore, Maryland, United States. I-695 is officially designated the McKeldin Beltway, but is colloquially referred to as either the Baltimore Beltway or 695. Maryland Route 144 (MD 144) is a collection of state highways in the U.S. state of Maryland. These highways are sections of old alignment of U.S. Route 40 (US 40) between Cumberland and Baltimore. Linganore is a census-designated place (CDP) in Frederick County, in the U.S. state of Maryland. It consists of the area around Lake Linganore, a residential community governed by a homeowners association, located east of the city of Frederick. As of the 2020 census the CDP had a population of 12,351. Prior to 2010, the area was part of the Linganore-Bartonsville CDP. The mailing address for the area is Lake Linganore, with a ZIP code of 21774.
