Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 48.8 square miles (126.5 km2). Of this total, 48.7 square miles (126.2 km2) are land and 0.1 square mile (0.2 km2, or 0.18%) is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 872 people, 330 households, and 241 families residing in the township. The population density was 17.9 people per square mile (6.9/km2). The route is split up into two segments, connected by New York State Route 426 (NY 426) through New York.
