Speed Stick is an American brand of deodorant/antiperspirant produced by multinational healthcare company Colgate-Palmolive. It was formerly known as "Mennen Speed Stick" prior to Colgate-Palmolive's purchase of The Mennen Company. Currently, the products feature the words "by Mennen" in a small font on the label. Speed Stick comes in both deodorant and antiperspirant forms. Speed Stick is both a sponsor and the official antiperspirant of the NHL. Deodorant
A deodorant is a substance applied to the body to prevent or mask body odor due to bacterial breakdown of perspiration or vaginal secretions, for example in the armpits, groin, or feet. A subclass of deodorants, called antiperspirants, prevents sweating itself, typically by blocking sweat glands. Teen Spirit is a deodorant, originally sold by Mennen, then Colgate-Palmolive (after Colgate-Palmolive acquired Mennen in 1992). Teen Spirit was first released by Mennen early in 1991, and with heavy advertising campaigns, it had soon "established a market niche" with teen girls. Sales were boosted by the grunge band Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit", which Kurt Cobain unwittingly named after the deodorant. When Mennen was acquired by Colgate-Palmolive in 1992, the Teen Spirit brand was said to be the most popular product of its kind in the US, and was the favorite of nearly 1/4 of all teenage girls. BK Racing was an American professional stock car racing team that fielded entries in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series from 2012 to 2018. It most recently fielded the No. 23 Toyota Camry and Ford Fusion for J. J. Yeley, Gray Gaulding, and other drivers. Swan Racing was a stock car racing team that competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series until the 2014 season. Cole Daniel Whitt (born June 22, 1991) is an American former professional stock car racing driver. After advancing his way through Kart racing, Whitt moved up to sprint cars and became a development driver for Team Red Bull. The NASCAR Cup Series is the top racing series of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR).
