Special Education ( sh, italic=yes, Specijalno vaspitanje/Специјално васпитање) is a 1977 Yugoslav drama directed by Goran Marković. It was his first feature film. The screenplay was written by Marković and Miroslav Simić. The film was finished short before 1977, but it was first screened in 1977, at the Pula Film Festival. Ljubiša Samardžić was awarded the Big Golden Arena, for his role of policeman Cane. Goran Marković (film Director)
Goran Marković ( sr-cyr, Горан Марковић, ) (born 24 August 1946) is a Serbs, Serbian film and theatre director, screenwriter, writer, and playwright. He has directed approximately 50 documentaries, 13 feature films, and 3 theatre plays. He has also written five books. Marković is one of the few directors from the former Yugoslavia credited with popularizing Yugoslav films, as well as achieving success domestically and internationally. Career Marković was born in Belgrade to Rade Marković, Rade and Olivera Marković, both established Serbian actors. He finished 5th Belgrade Gymnasium (school), Gymnasium prior to attending Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, FAMU at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
