''Speaking Louder than Before'' is the sixth studio album from contemporary Christian music, contemporary Christian musician Jeremy Camp. It was released on November 24, 2008, and entered the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 at No. 38. Background In May 2008, Camp went into the studio to begin recording the album. ''Speaking Louder Than Before'' was recorded over five days, with Camp spending 12 hours in the studio each day. He co-produced the album with Brown Bannister. Camp has said that ''Speaking Louder Than Before'' has a different theme to his previous releases and that he has "a more clear-cut purpose and vision of what I'm meant to do ... Jeremy Thomas Camp (born January 12, 1978) is an American contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter from Lafayette, Indiana. He has released eleven albums, four of them RIAA-certified as Gold, and two live albums. Camp's original music is a mixture of ballads and up-tempo songs with rock influence. The 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards presentation was held on April 21, 2010 recognizing accomplishments of musicians for the year 2009. The show was held at The Opry Entertainment Complex in Nashville, Tennessee, and was hosted by Bart Millard. Nominations were announced on February 18, 2010 during a press conference at Belmont University's Curb Café in Nashville, Tennessee. Dove Award
A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The awards are presented annually. Formerly held in Nashville, Tennessee, the Dove Awards took place in Atlanta, Georgia during 2011 and 2012, but has since moved back to Nashville. The ceremonies feature live musical performances and are broadcast on TBN. Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Biography Ted Jensen was born to Carl and Margaret (Anning) Jensen, both of whom were musicians. Carl had studied at Yale University. The Kry
The Kry is a Christian rock and worship band from Quebec City, Canada. The band consists of Jean-Luc La Joie (vocals, bass and acoustic guitars), Yves La Joie (drums, percussion, and backing vocals), Nic Rodriguez (bass guitar), and Steve Marcia (electric guitar). In addition to their invitational songs, ballads, rock music, and thought-provoking lyrics, they are also known for Cassie's Song. Adrienn “Adie” Camp (née Liesching; born 12 July 1981) is a South African singer and songwriter, who is known as the lead singer of the Christian pop-rock band the Benjamin Gate before the group disbanded in 2003. Chris McHugh (born 1964) is an American musician. He began his career as the drummer of Christian rock band White Heart from 1986 to 1989. He also worked in the recording of several of their later albums. Chris McHugh is on the Nashville "A" list of session drummers. Tom Bukovac is an American session musician and producer. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in nearby Willowick, Ohio. He has been a Nashville-based musician since 1992. He previously owned 2nd Gear, a used music consignment shop in South Nashville.
