''Sparta'' is a collaborative studio album by American rap duo M.O.P. M.O.P. (short for Mash Out Posse) is an American hip hop duo composed of East Coast rappers Billy Danze and Lil' Fame. The song " Ante Up", was released on their ''Warriorz'' album in 2000. The group has frequently collaborated with DJ Premi ... and German hip hop production team Snowgoons. It was released on November 22, 2011, through Babygrande Records. The album did not reach the US ''Billboard'' 200, however, it peaked at number 67 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Snowgoons
History Snowgoons is a German underground hip hop production team composed of DJ Illegal (Manuu Rückert) and Det Gunner (D. Keller). In 2011, producers Sicknature (Jeppe Andersen) from Denmark and J.S. Kuster (Johann Sebastian Kuster) from Germany joined the group. Det and DJ Illegal first started in 1999 as the two original members. In 2006, they decided to a add a third member, Torben from Germany, who was a part of the group until 2008. After Torben left, they decided to add a third member again in the same year, DJ Waxwork from Germany, who was a part of the group until 2009. The Snowgoons are known for using orchestral/epic samples and for working with underground MCs, like members of Wu-Tang Clan, AOTP, Boot Camp Click and La Coka Nostra. The team cite DJ Premier, Alchemist and RZA as influences. They have released several Snowgoons albums. Hardcore Hip Hop
Hardcore hip hop (also hardcore rap) is a genre of hip hop music that developed through the East Coast hip hop scene in the 1980s. Pioneered by such artists as Run-DMC, Schoolly D, Boogie Down Productions and Public Enemy, it is generally characterized by anger, aggression and confrontation. History Music experts have credited Run-DMC as the first hardcore hip hop group. Other early artists to adopt an aggressive style were Schoolly D in Philadelphia and Too $hort in Oakland, California. Babygrande is distributed by The Orchard and represented by the Creative Artists Agency in Hollywood. History Babygrande Records was founded in 2001. Charles "Chuck" Wilson Jr. (born April 23, 1968) is an American multimedia executive. He is currently the CEO of Triumph Media Holdings, a multimedia company. He is also the founder of Babygrande Records. Wilson has served as the executive producer on over 100 titles. In addition, he was the director of A&R at Priority Records as well as director of business affairs at Black Entertainment Television ("BET"). He also conceived and co-wrote the 2004 film ''Soul Plane''. Career Film Wilson broke into the film industry as an intern for Spike Lee on the set of 1994's ''Crooklyn''. Wilson sold his first script to Danny DeVito in 1999. The film was about wealthy African Americans in the Hamptons, which Wilson said was akin to "a black Great Gatsby". The same year, Wu-Tang International optioned his music-based urban drama ''Trife Life'' and Jersey Films purchased his untitled urban comedy pitch, centered on golf.
