SpaceX Crew-5
SpaceX Crew-5 is the fifth crewed operational NASA Commercial Crew Program flight of a Crew Dragon spacecraft, and the eighth overall crewed orbital flight. The mission launched on 5 October 2022 and transported four crew members to the International Space Station (ISS), docking there on 6 October 2022 at 21:01 UTC. Two NASA astronauts, one JAXA astronaut, and one Russian cosmonaut are participating in the mission. Three of the crew members were assigned following delays to Boeing's Starliner program. Commander Nicole Mann was reassigned to the flight from Boeing's Boe-CFT mission, while Pilot Josh Cassada and Mission Specialist Koichi Wakata transferred from Boeing Starliner-1. Crew Dragon Endurance
Crew Dragon ''Endurance'' (Dragon C210) is a Crew Dragon spacecraft manufactured by SpaceX, built and operated under NASA's Commercial Crew Program. On 11 November 2021, it was launched to transport personnel to the International Space Station as part of the SpaceX Crew-3 mission, which became a part of ISS Expedition 66. History On 7 October 2021, it was announced that Dragon C210 will be called ''Endurance''. Astronaut Raja Chari said that the name honors the SpaceX and NASA teams that built the spacecraft and trained the astronauts who will fly it. Those workers endured through a pandemic. SpaceX Crew-4
SpaceX Crew-4 was the Crew Dragon's fourth NASA Commercial Crew operational flight, and its seventh overall crewed orbital flight. The mission launched on 27 April 2022 at 07:52 UTC before docking with the International Space Station (ISS) at 23:37 UTC. It followed shortly after the private Axiom 1 mission to the ISS earlier in the month utilizing SpaceX hardware. Three American (NASA) astronauts and one European (ESA) astronaut were onboard the mission. Crew-4 was the maiden flight of the Crew Dragon spacecraft named ''Freedom'', named such by the crew because it "celebrates a fundamental human right, and the industry and innovation that emanate from the unencumbered human spirit". This is a chronological list of expeditions to the International Space Station (ISS). An expedition to the ISS refers to the crew that is occupying the space station and using it for research and testing. Expeditions can last up to six months and include between two and seven crew members. Expeditions are numbered starting from one and sequentially increased with each expedition. Expedition 68
Expedition 68 is the 68th long-duration expedition to the International Space Station. The expedition began upon the departure of Soyuz MS-21 on 29 September 2022, with ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti taking over as ISS commander. Initially, the expedition consisted of Cristoforetti and her three SpaceX Crew-4 crewmates Kjell N. Nikolai Mikhailovich Budarin (russian: Николай Михайлович Бударин) (born April 29, 1953 in Kirya, Chuvashia) is a retired Russian cosmonaut, a veteran of three extended space missions aboard the Mir Space Station and the International Space Station. He has also performed eight career spacewalks with a total time of 44 hours. Soyuz (spacecraft)
Soyuz () is a series of spacecraft which has been in service since the 1960s, having made more than 140 flights. It was designed for the Soviet space program by the Korolev Design Bureau (now Energia). The Soyuz succeeded the Voskhod spacecraft and was originally built as part of the Soviet crewed lunar programs. It is launched on a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Soyuz MS-22
Soyuz MS-22 is a Russian Soyuz spaceflight to the International Space Station with a crew of three launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome on 21 September 2022. The launch was previously planned for 13 September 2022, but in the provisional flight manifest prepared by Roscosmos by the end of Summer 2020, the launch of Soyuz MS-22 was delayed to 21 September 2022, for a mission length of 188 days. Boeing Starliner-1
Boeing Starliner-1 is planned to be the first operational crew mission of the Boeing Starliner to the International Space Station (ISS) as part of the Commercial Crew Program. It would be the fourth orbital flight mission of the Starliner overall. It is scheduled to launch no earlier than 2024, transporting members of a future ISS Expedition. Boeing Crewed Flight Test
Boeing Crew Flight Test (Boe CFT) will be the first crewed mission of the Boeing Starliner and the third orbital flight test of the Starliner overall after the two uncrewed flight tests, OFT-1 and OFT-2. Though the launch date for the mission was scheduled for late 2021, various delays have pushed the launch of the CFT mission to no earlier than April 2023.
