The Cenup Demiryolları (french: Chemins de fer du Sud de la Turquie, en, Southern Railways) was the name of the railway operating former Baghdad Railway trackage in Turkey from 1933 to 1948. ''Cenup'' is another word for ''south'' in Turkish. History The Chemins de fer de Cilicie Nord-Syrie (CNS), one of the two successors to the Baghdad Railway, operated lines in the newly formed Turkish Republic. The CNS was a French owned company that operated mainly in Syria. In 1927 the CNS was renamed Bozanti-Alep-Nissibine et Prolongements (BANP). The Turkish government and the BANP signed an agreement in Ankara on October 27, 1932. The agreement was that routes of the BANP in the Turkish borders would be sold to a Turkish company. Al-Rai, Syria
Al-Rai ( ar, الراعي, ''al-Ra'i'' or ''al-Rayi''; tr, Çobanbey), is a small town in northern Aleppo Governorate, northern Syria. With 4,609 inhabitants, as per the 2004 census, al-Rai is the administrative center of the sparsely populated Nahiya al-Rai. Fevzipaşa is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of İslahiye, Gaziantep Province, Turkey. Its population is 1,173 (2022). Before the 2013 reorganisation, it was a town (''belde''). It is inhabited by Yörüks. Geography Fevzipaşa is north of İslahiye. The highway distance to Gaziantep to the east is . The Nur Mountains are just to the west of the town and the meadow-lands of Amik are to the east. Chemins De Fer De Cilicie Nord-Syrie
The Chemins Company is a dietary supplement manufacturer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The company, founded in 1974 by James Cameron, became embroiled in a series of criminal investigations in 1994 after a woman died and more than 100 other people became ill after taking one of the company’s products marketed under the brand name Nature's Nutrition Formula One. The adverse events were later linked to the product having been tainted with ephedrine. A three-year federal investigation, which revealed that the company had doctored records, misled FDA investigators, and purposely hindered inspections, led to Cameron being sentenced to 21 months in prison and him and the company being fined $4.7 million .
