__NOTOC__ Southern Kangaroo Island Marine Park (formerly Southern Kangaroo Island Commonwealth Marine Reserve) is a marine protected area located south of South Australia in waters within the Australian Exclusive economic zone to the south of Kangaroo Island and ranging in depth from to . It was gazetted in November 2012. It was renamed on 11 October 2017. It is part of a group of Australian marine parks managed by the Department of the Environment and Energy known as the South-west Marine Park Network. It is bounded on its northern side by the Southern Kangaroo Island Marine Park which is managed by the Government of South Australia. Kingscote, South Australia
Kingscote is a town in the Australian state of South Australia located on Kangaroo Island about south-west of the state capital of Adelaide. It is South Australia's oldest European settlement and the island's largest town. At the 2016 census, Kingscote had a population of 1,790. Great White Shark

The Australian sea lion (''Neophoca cinerea''), also known as the Australian sea-lion or Australian sealion, is a species of sea lion that is the only endemic pinniped in Australia. Southern Kangaroo Island Marine Park (state Waters)
__NOTOC__ Southern Kangaroo Island Marine Park is a marine protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located in state coastal waters adjoining both the south coast of Kangaroo Island and a group of islets located to the south of Kangaroo Island. The marine park was established on 29 January 2009 under the ''Marine Parks Act 2007''. The marine park consists of two areas of water.
