South Tyrolean Freedom
South Tyrolean Freedom (german: Süd-Tiroler Freiheit, STF) is a regionalist, separatist and national-conservative political party in South Tyrol, Italy. The party, which is part of the South Tyrolean independence movement, seeks to represent the German-speaking population and proposes the secession of South Tyrol from Italy and its reunification with the State of Tyrol within Austria. Its founding leader was Eva Klotz. History The South Tyrolean Freedom emerged as a split from the Union for South Tyrol (UfS) in May 2007. On 8 June 2007 it was notarially founded in Brixen. The founding members were Herbert Campidell, Eva Klotz, Sven Knoll, Reinhold Ladurner, Roland Lang, Sepp Mitterhofer, Werner Thaler and Dietmar Zwerger. In mid 2007, the party presented a provocative poster campaign with the slogan ("South Tyrol is not Italy") and the Austrian flag as background. Eva Klotz
Eva Klotz (born 4 June 1951) is an Italian politician. She was a member of the Landtag of South Tyrol for 31 years, from 1983 until 2014. She represented several parties during that time, latterly (from 2007) the South Tyrolean Freedom. Life and career Eva Klotz is the eldest of six children of South Tyrolean militant . She studied education at the University of Innsbruck, specializing in history, folklore, and philosophy. After completing her studies in 1974, she taught German, geography, Latin, and history at high-schools all over South Tyrol. Between 1980 and 1983 she was a town councilor for the South Tyrolean People's Party in the city of Bolzano, the capital of South Tyrol. In 1983 she became a state representative, once again for the South Tyrolean People's Party. At this point she decided to give up teaching and dedicate herself solely to politics and the cause of South Tyrolean self-determination. The Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol provincial elections of 2008 took place on 26 October 2008 in South Tyrol and on 9 November in the Trentino. It was the first time since 1946 that elections were not held on the same day. Patriotism
Patriotism is the feeling of love, devotion, and sense of attachment to one's country. South Tyrolean Homeland Federation
The South Tyrolean Homeland Federation (german: Südtiroler Heimatbund, SHB) was a political party active in South Tyrol. It was launched in 1983 as Election Association of Homeland Federation (''Wahlverband des Heimatbundes'', ''Heimatbund'') and won 4.2% in the 1983 general election and 2.6% in the 1983 provincial election, enough for granting Eva Klotz a seat in the Provincial Council. In 1988 the party obtained 2.3% and Klotz was re-elected to the Council. The Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol provincial elections of 2013 took place on 27 October 2013. Brenner Pass
The Brenner Pass (german: link=no, Brennerpass , shortly ; it, Passo del Brennero ) is a mountain pass through the Alps which forms the border between Italy and Austria. It is one of the principal passes of the Eastern Alpine range and has the lowest altitude among Alpine passes of the area. Dairy cattle graze in alpine pastures throughout the summer in valleys beneath the pass and on the mountains above it. At lower altitudes, farmers log pine trees, plant crops and harvest hay for winter fodder. Brixen

Geography First mentioned in 901, Brixen is the third largest city and oldest town in the province, and the artistic and cultural capital of the valley.
