South Ossetia
South Ossetia, officially the Republic of South Ossetia or the State of Alania, is a landlocked country in the South Caucasus with International recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, partial diplomatic recognition. It has an officially stated population of just over 56,500 people (2022), who live in an area of , with 33,000 living in the capital city, Tskhinvali. Government Of South Ossetia
The Government of the Republic of South Ossetia is the political leadership of the partially recognised Republic of South Ossetia. Executive branch South Ossetia's head of state is the president, the current president is Alan Gagloev. The head of government is the prime minister, who is supported by a cabinet of ministers. The current prime minister is Konstantin Dzhussoev. In August, 2009, then-president Eduard Kokoity dismissed Aslanbek Bulatsev's cabinet. It was said that Bulatsev had long been sick and had repeatedly sought to resign. Konstantin Dzhussoev
Konstantin Khasanovich Dzhussoev (, ; born 23 November 1967) is a South Ossetian politician serving as the Prime Minister of South Ossetia since 2022. Biography Business career Dzhussoev graduated in 1989 from the Tskhinvali Faculty of the Georgian Polytechnic Institute (GPI) with a degree in technology of machine tools and tools. From 1993 to 2011 he held the position of general director of the construction company Prilichny/Pridezhny LLC. In 2011, he became the General Director of the construction company Megapolis.
