South Common Centre Bus Terminal
The South Common Centre Bus Terminal is located in western Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is situated on the western side of South Common Centre. The terminal does not contain a building, partly due to having direct connection to the mall and to the nearby buildings such as South Common Library. Instead, it is formatted as a transit mall, with benches and bus shelters on either side of the terminal. Tickets and passes for both transit systems are available inside the South Common Centre. MiWay tickets and passes are also sold at South Common Community Centre, which is also located beside the terminal. The terminal, along with Erin Mills Town Centre, could possibly be relocated to the Erin Mills BRT Station of the Mississauga Transitway, for more connectivity with other routes that are planned to serve the station. MiWay (pronounced "my way"; stylized miWAY), also known as Mississauga Transit and originally as Mississauga Transit Systems, is the municipal public transport agency serving Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and is responsible to the city's Transportation and Works Department. Kipling Station
Kipling is the western terminus station of Line 2 Bloor–Danforth of the Toronto subway system. Oakville GO Station is a GO Transit railway station and bus station in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. It is colocated and shares platforms with Via Rail's Oakville railway station. It is a stop on GO's Lakeshore West line train service and, until October 2007, served as the western terminus for weekend service. Islington is a subway station on Line 2 Bloor–Danforth of the Toronto subway in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on the north side of Bloor Street West on the west side of Islington Avenue. A central platform serves trains running in both directions. Mississauga City Centre Transit Terminal
The City Centre Transit Terminal in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada is the main transit hub and bus station for MiWay, the city's public transit system. The station is situated in Mississauga City Centre at the northwest corner of Square One Shopping Centre, and buses using the terminal display "Square One" on their destination signs. Buses use the upper level, while access from the mall is on lower ground via crosswalk (no direct connection), where a taxi stand and kiss and ride are located. Services provided on the upper level of the building include ticket sales, information booth, and lost and found, while washroom facilities and MiWay transit police holding cells is located on the lower level. Clarkson GO Station
Clarkson GO Station is a GO Transit railway station and bus station in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on the Lakeshore West line train service, serving the Clarkson neighbourhood. History The original railway station was located about 800 meters to the east of the present day station, on the north side of the railway tracks, behind Warren Clarkson's store and Post Office on the west side of Clarkson Road (Today Clarkson Road North). It was built in 1853 by the Great Western Railway at the corner of the property which became known as Clarkson's Corner. The apostrophe in Clarkson's was removed from the sign in 1956, on the CNR station which burned down in 1962, although Corner had long since disappeared from usage. The station brought commerce to local fruit and vegetable farmers, with corn, apples and especially strawberries being the main produce in Clarkson. The Meadowvale Town Centre Bus Terminal is the main, inter-regional transit hub for the community of Meadowvale located in northwestern Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is the third-largest terminal served by MiWay, the second-largest in Mississauga after City Centre Transit Terminal.
