South African Cricket Team Against Pakistan In The UAE In 2010–11
The Pakistan cricket team played against South Africa in UAE from 26 October to 24 November 2010. The tour was originally scheduled to consist of one Twenty20 (T20), five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Tests, but due to the 2010 Pakistan floods, South Africa proposed to play another T20 to raise funds for flood victims. On 7 October, Pakistan announced their 15-men squad marking the return of Misbah-ul-Haq but no captain was announced (despite the fact that Shahid Afridi has been their limited-overs captain since June that year). A day later, Misbah-ul-Haq was named as the Test captain, while Shahid Afridi was retained as limited-overs captain. Misbah-ul-Haq
; born 28 May 1974) is a former Pakistani cricket coach and former international cricketer. Misbah captained Pakistan in all formats and is former head coach and former chief selector of the Pakistan national team. A late bloomer, Misbah was a middle-order batsman best known for his composure with the bat whilst also having the ability to be an aggressive big shot player when required. Misbah scored the fastest fifty in Test cricket and set a new record for the fastest Test hundred and holds the record for most career ODI runs without a century. Misbah has an MBA degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Management and Technology in Lahore, Punjab. One Day Internationals
A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. One Day International matches are also called Limited Overs Internationals (LOI), although this generic term may also refer to Twenty20 International matches. They are major matches and considered the highest standard of List A, limited-overs competition. The international one day game is a late-twentieth-century development. Tanvir Ahmed
Tanvir Ahmed ( bal, تنويراحمد; born 20 December 1978) is a former Pakistani Test cricketer born in Kuwait. Ahmed is mainly a fast-bowler. He played for Pakistan in a first-class match against Worcestershire in the tour of England in 2010 He was later chosen to play in the second test in Pakistan's 2010 home series against South Africa in the UAE in which he took six wickets (6/120) during the first innings. Saeed Ajmal
Saeed Ajmal SI ( Punjabi, ; born 14 October 1977) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer, who played all forms of the game. He is a right-arm off-spin bowler who bats right handed. At domestic level in Pakistan he represented Faisalabad, with whom he won the 2005 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup; Khan Research Laboratories; and Islamabad. Umar Gul (Urdu: , ps, عمر گل) (born 15 October 1982 ) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who is the current bowling coach of Quetta Gladiators. He played all three formats of the game as a right arm fast medium bowler for the Pakistani cricket team. He gained fame as one of the most successful bowlers in Twenty20 cricket, finishing as the leading wicket taker and bowler in both the 2007 and 2009 Twenty20 World Championship tournaments. Mohammad Sami
Mohammad Sami ( ur, ; born 24 February 1981) is a former Pakistani cricketer who played for the Pakistan national cricket team between 2001 and 2016. Domestic career Sami joined the Indian Cricket League following the tour of India in December 2007. He played for the Lahore Badshahs, a team composed entirely of Pakistani cricketers, during the Indian Cricket League's second Twenty20 tournament. Sohail Tanvir
Sohail Tanvir ( ur, ; born 12 December 1984) is a Pakistani cricketer, who has gained considerable international repute for his unorthodox left arm bowling action and particularly for the success it has gained him in the Twenty20 format of the game. Asad Shafiq
Asad Shafiq ( ur, ; born 28 January 1986) is a Pakistani cricketer who played for Pakistan national cricket team between 2010 and 2020. As of the 2021/22 season, he plays for Sindh in domestic cricket. Shafiq hails from a Gujarati family. He is fluent in Urdu and English, while he can speak Gujarati partly and understands it. Umar Akmal (Urdu, pa, ; born 26 May 1990) is a Pakistani cricketer who played for Pakistan national cricket team between 2009 and 2019. He was banned by the Pakistan Cricket Board for eighteen months for not disclosing offers related to spot fixing until August 2021. Mohammad Yousuf (cricketer, Born 1974)
Mohammad Yousuf PP SI ( Punjabi, ur, ; formerly Yousuf Youhana, ; born 27 August 1974) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer and captain, who played all three formats. Prior to his conversion to Islam, Yousuf was one of the few Christians to play for the Pakistan national cricket team. Yousuf scored 1,788 runs in 2006 which is a world record for most runs scored in a year in tests at an average of almost 100. Taufeeq Umar
Taufeeq Umar ( Punjabi: توفیق عمر, born 20 June 1981) is a Pakistani former cricketer who played for the Pakistan national cricket team between 2001 and 2014. Umar was a regular Test opening batsman for three seasons, before being dropped ahead of the 2004–05 season. Imran Farhat ( ur, , born 20 May 1982) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who played for Pakistan national cricket team between 2001 and 2013.
